Please play close attention in this video to my son and daughter. I normally wouldn't give you a look into such things, however I want you to see Fort Thompson for how it is everyday. My son says in the beginning that he just poo pooed, and my daughter is making sure by holding her nose that I know about it. I normally would have edited this out and just shown the announcements of the winners, however I thought this would add some additional humor to your day. I had much difficulty trying to keep my composure through the entire thing. Also pay attention to my daughter at the end who chooses to throw in a few modeling poses of her own. Last night Will got up as he was in need of an Asthma treatment. He doesn't normally need them, but lately seems to require them often. So we are probably on our way to the Dr.'s office very shortly.

He got up and was asking me for his rubby. This is just a burp cloth and he still likes sleeping with them. We let it be since he isn't still sucking a binky as that went away at around 8 months, and he isn't breast feeding still either. I had to throw that in since I saw a story of a woman who was breast feeding three kids and two of them where ages 5 and 8! Ya you got it! I think if the kid is old enough to ask for the boob then they are too old! But that's just me.

Anyway, I digress. Will was trying to tell me the rubby was in the drawer (where we keep them) and I thought he was saying door.

Ok so here it is, MORE FUN at The Fort!

I just had to share this with you as it is SOOO FUNNY! Taylor has a great voice and loves to sing. However when she sings with her ear buds in her ears with her MP3 player she cant hear herself and what comes out is often what makes the dogs bark.

So we decided to share some of her tone deaf attempts at some songs she knows, and some that she knows not so much. If you can identify each song by its title and artist then you will be entered into a drawing for an MP3 player!



I get really tickled in the last one as you will see. I thought she said "smoke some weed" but then I played it back and she said "eat some weed". This of course all in an attempt to get the words right. She later in that same video says "lick my brain" and I just couldn't keep it together, but she did. I however was in tears!

How to play:

Follow the Fort. We keep our contests in The Family! Don't worry, we have a pretty big family and if your not in it you should be! Membership does have its privileges! This is mandatory.

Then guess each songs exact title and artist by leaving the answers with which entry (1,2,3 etc.) in an email to me. My addy is in my profile under about us if you don't already have it.

Is there really anything more frustrating that having to have surgery? Im guessing its at the top. Here is me before the surgery, somewhat relaxed as it was still very early and I had been given something to relax me not that I needed it.



And now afterwards. As I am still very drugged and in ALLOT of pain. Yes, this was VERY frustrating. I hated feeling this way. I am still in some pain but no where near what I was during this video and soon thereafter at home.
