Archived Christmas Card

Morning!  Well, first let me give a SHOUT OUT to my BROTHER IN LAW, JIM!  He saved my computer from a virus, losing all pictures, digital downloads, everything, last night!!!!!  OMGOSH!

THANK YOU, JIM!!!!!!

And, after that happened I decided to go through some old cards to re-visit some old favorites to show you while I am working on my New Release Debut Day cards for WHIMSIE DOODLES on Sunday!  This card here is a SCS challenge card, TLC199 from back last December!  I love all the details of getting the points to be perfect and how I paper pieced the insides of the diamond shapes to make it look like a round ornament in the middle.  AH, but this is only one of a very small number of  'good' ones that I am willing to share.  My style has so changed since even last December!  LOL!

Well, I hope you enjoy this one until tomorrow!  Or maybe later today I will try to fancy up something new for you to see.  OH!  I nearly forgot!  Today is the next challenge at the WHIMSIE DOODLES PaperCraftPlanet groupCLICK HERE to see what is going on and how you can play along!  I haven't had time to work on my submission for this challenge yet, I had planned to do that last night, but the whole 'HELP!  My computer is about to BLOW UP!' happened and I couldn't get to it!  But I have until next Wednesday to get it in!  Thank Goodness it is a WEEK long challenge and not just a daily one!

I am headed to get an external hardware drive right after the kids go to school and start to put my mind at rest.  Last night was just too much drama for me to go through EVER again!

Blessings on your day!

It's Pumpkin Time for a Challenge!

That 'title' was like the "BEFORE & AFTER" on Wheel of Fortune! LOL!  Today is Wednesday, which means a new challenge over at the Whimsie Doodles Paper Craft Planet Group!  This week's challenge is PUMPKINS!  So, I used one of these adorable, yet earlier, images of Melyssa's called Cat & Friends available HERE.  Also I used a Halloween Button Sentiment that you can find HERE!

I am still reverting back to this same My Mind's Eye paper set that I just can't seem to get enough of!  Someone stop me PLEASE!!!!!! LOL!  I used the SC251 from SplitCoastStampers for this card, too, although it wasn't for a square card, I tweeked it a bit.  Hope you take some time out to stamp and join me again tomorrow!

I have a sneak peek of a new stamp that is being released on November 1st!  Can anyone say 'HOLIDAY-ISH'?  Or is that even a word?  HA!  Well, check back, it is a cute card, at least I HOPE you think it is!

See ya tomorrow!

Happy Labor Day!

Happy Labor Day to everyone! Are you enjoying your extra long weekend? I have been taking this weekend to get caught up on outstanding orders, shipments and work up some Design Team posts! Here is one for WHIMSIE DOODLES! I love this Whimsie Turtle guy, he's so cute! AND did I mention that he is FREE? YEP, if you have never tried digi stamps before, just head on over to the WHIMSIE BLOG and find him in the side bar. NOW you have NO EXCUSE to not try out digi stamps!

I used some old My Mind's Eye Tres Jolie paper ("Mother" set) that I had been hoarding and put it together using the SplitCoastStampers Sketch Challenge #SC442. I originally didn't have the Prima paper flowers on there, but thought it needed more than just the Dew Drops at bottom right. I am glad I added the flowers, gave it an extra punch of color and texture!

I used my Copics for coloring and a little organza ribbon for a soft touch. This card can be used for any occasion with the absence of a sentiment, but I think I know what I am going to use it for! Can't tell ya! Maybe it is for you!

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend!

Inspirational Challenge

This past Saturday at SplitCoastStampers, they had an inspirational challenge posted. You were to go to THE CURIOSITY SHOPPE and find something to base your card off of. I chose THIS LINK HERE (shown above) as my form of inspiration. What do you think?

I basically used the lower 2 rows and switched out the bottom left corner for the top right corner in the wall hanging above. I coordinated the brown dotted leaf with the brown dotted ribbon and tied it all together using navy for the sentiment and the frame around the six squares. Split Coast ALWAYS has the best challenges! Let me know what you think! OH, and check out The Curiosity Shoppe, it is a fun little store to browse through!

Hope you are ALL doing well!

Howdy!
