Digi Choosday Challenge – Thinking of You!

Good morning all! Hope you are well!

It is Choosday which means it’s time for a new challenge over at DIGI CHOOSDAY and our theme this time is Thinking of You! Now Nikky has a new Work and Play bundle out that has some fabby characters and elements in it and that is what I used for my make today.

So I went quite literal with my take on the Thinking of You theme and have my pretty female scientist thinking of her cute scientist boyfriend and it is quite possible that she is mixing up a love potion in that laboratory flask of hers. Or of course she could be brewing something quite sinister and she is trying to bump him off for his money!! I’ll leave that to you! J

Believe it or not this is a shaker card, and you may just be able to spot the seed beads in the test tubes behind. Best get the vacuum out!!! L

Ingredients:

Image Colouring: LYRA REMBRANDT POLYCOLOR PENCILS

Colours used: Skin: 90, 89, 32, + 27 – Blues: 51, 50, 47 – Yellows: 87, 83, 84 – Browns: 76, 80, 82 – White: 97, 96, 95

Card: Neenah Solar White – Super Smooth

Dies: Tattered Lace ‘Pin Hole Rectangles’ and ‘Pin Hole Squares’

Others: Faux stitching – Seed Beads

Polkadoodles Octavia Frosted Winter – Gingerbread Hanger!

Hello! Sick of me yet? (Don’t answer that!!)

So I am sneaking back to continue showcasing the super beautiful new collection from POLKADOODLES called OCTAVIA FROSTED WINTER which you would have seen presented by our lovely Nikky Hall on CREATE AND CRAFT. Trust me it is a must-have!

So I created a wall hanger for my next project using more of the amazing embellies. Aren’t those gingerbread people the cutest and that mug of hot chocolate looks fab! Emma and Cara made fabulous shaped cards using this super versatile image that you just have to see!

There are some amazing chalkboard sentiments in this collection too so I had to use one. Adore these!!

Polkadoodles Octavia Frosted Winter – Fairy Door!

Hello! Don’t panic, it’s just me! J

So I am back to continue showcasing the super beautiful new collection from POLKADOODLES called OCTAVIA FROSTED WINTER which you would have seen presented by our fabulous Nikky Hall on CREATE AND CRAFT on Tuesday. It’s a must-have let me tell you!!

So onto a card that you may have actually seen on the programme!! Oh yes! Nikky very kindly picked this card up to show. I know!! Have to admit that I did get a bit giddy and may have squealed embarrassingly Not admitting to anything!), much to the amusement of my dogs!! J

I used the gorgeous pre-coloured ‘Fairy Door’ that is in the embellies section and made it large enough to create a card base. I cut out the window and used more of the fabulous images to build a cosy Christmas living room scene inside and a ‘wow-check-out-how-many-pressies-have-been-delivered’ scene outside. The robin looks shocked!! J

Polkadoodles Octavia Frosted Winter – Whale of a Time!

Hello! Yes it’s me again!

So I am back to continue showcasing the super beautiful new collection from POLKADOODLES called OCTAVIA FROSTED WINTER which you would have seen presented by our wonderful Nikky Hall on CREATE AND CRAFT on Tuesday. Ooooh it is totally swoon worthy!!!

So my next make is a big 8X8” scalloped circle card that I decorated with some of the pre-coloured goodies in this bundle and the image is called WHALE OF A TIME and can be purchased as a separate B/W digi HERE.

Polkadoodles Octavia Frosted Winter – Igloo Camp

Hello! Hope this finds you well! We are starting to get back to normal in my house after our water tank fiasco last week. I can actually use my craft room again!! Thank you so much for your kind comments, it was VERY much appreciated.

So what on earth am I going here, you ask, well I’m afraid that there are going to be some extra posts coming up from me (sorry about that) as I am here to showcase the super beautiful new collection from POLKADOODLES called OCTAVIA FROSTED WINTER. You may have seen this exquisite bundle presented by our fabulous Nikky Hall on CREATE AND CRAFT on Tuesday. It’s a corker!!!

The first card I made is one of my fave shapes a diorama/shadow box/theatre card thingy (not its real name) that I created using the wonderful pre-coloured images.

This young lady is called IGLOO CAMP and can also be found as a B/W digi HERE. Audrey used this image and the igloo digi to make a fabulous shaped card that you can see HERE. You can do so much with this collection.
