I'M RELEASED...er, rather, my book is now available on Amazon, B&N and Borders online...

Not long ago I discovered my book ART OF SENSUALITY was available earlier than scheduled on Amazon, as well as a few other spots! Looks like all the Pre-Orders will get their books before I receive my author copies...and it's on SALE for a limited time! LOL -- I am SO anxious to hold the trade book in my hands, to run my fingers through the pages and breathe a sigh of relief that it is finally out. I think I've done promo for this since early this year...or was it the end of last...all the days are starting to run together for me.

Well, I am happy to announce that I received an awesome review from Romance Junkies. This one was especially touching for me. Why? Often authors don't praise their reviewers enough and when you find a reviewer who has fully read your book and truly understood the message you were trying to convey--it tugs at your heartstrings. I'm extremely grateful the reviewer just 'Got It' without me having to explain the motives of the h/h. Sometimes the story is so epic in our heads that it doesn't effectively come across on the page..but an author only wishes they are able to do the story justice. Frankly, I loved writing this book and I hope my readers will see that same love transported onto the pages. This was one of the more complex characters I've ever written and I had to put myself into that frame of mind...it was painful and it was emotional...

I hope to have my retreat pictures up sometime by the end of the weekend. Until then, I think I'm going to go pull my tub of Starbucks coffee ice cream out and indulge! It's been an exciting week!

They say you need a vacation after a vacation and that's SO true! I just got back late last night and I can't seem to get back into the groove. I've been busy working on web updates and haven't even unpacked. The last time I took a trip it took me a full 3 weeks to unpack my suitcase. I'm a sad case! As most of you know, I'm moving...well, in the next month or so I'll be climbing onto a U-haul and taking myself to cowboy country. YeeHaw! Originally I was going up North but things changed, as usual, and I'll be owning a pair of cowgirl boots in no time at all. In the meantime, I'm trying to repress the urge to jump up and down because my book ART OF SENSUALITY will be out in 6 days! But apparently it's already available on Amazon...WOOHOO! I'm going be doing a HUMUNGOUS giveaway in honor of my first single title release with Parker Publishing. Feel free to ORDER my book on Amazon! :)

I get my author copies in a few days and I'm stoked about it. I've bragged to all my friends until they're probably sick of hearing me. Hey, not every day an author gets 4 stars from Romantic Times Review! I'm still walking on clouds over that one. I can also say that I am almost done with my graphic design deadlines and then I will finally be able to work on my manuscript that's due at the end of the month. So for the next 4 weeks I will be in deadline hell! I'm preparing for it though by sleeping 3 hours a night! LOL

Things can only get better from here on out..I hope.

Be Positive. Positive thinking is what's gotten me this far so I'm going to keep at it. What are my goals for the rest of the year?

1. Finish my 3 manuscript commitments
2. Finish my Spice Brief to submit to new agent
3. Get picked up by a superagent
4. Get multi-book deal with a big NY house
5. Take a long vacation

Wow, can you believe it's March? Where does the time go? I can't believe I took a huge cross country trip and now I'm HERE. I do miss my my apartment dreadfully. I miss those red walls. When I get my house I'm going to paint my walls!

Back to work. I won't have a late night tonight so I guess 4 hours sleep will be better than 3!

You know you've made it when Amazon features a sneak peek of your book! Okay, so it's not the most current excerpt but it does showcase the first 8 pages of my story. :) Hopefully the readers will get hooked on it and want to buy the whole darn thing. I promise you it's a fast read.

Now, how about a little promo? I suppose March 15th is my release date, the only contest I can offer is an e-book ARC of the Lotus Blossom Chronicles for those of you who want to get it before the book drops on the shelves of B&N, Borders, and Books-A-Million.. oh, BAMM has my books online as well...wow, I'm getting around. I believe B&N will have my books online in 5 short weeks. They're a little slow in getting it up...I get no love.
