Jett doesn't draw as much as he used to but when he gets inspired he can focus on his project for hours. Tonight's project was Super Heroes. I love his motivation and his attention to detail. He is a better artist at 5 then I have ever been.

One of my favorite times of day is when we get home after school and the kids show me their work from school. We celebrate successes and talk about what we could do better on. Their display their favorite work on the fridge, in the hallway or in thrift scrapbooks got the year. The teacher in me loves to watch them learn and grow as a learner.
