our little life

Our wonderful library had a Teddy Bear Sleepover. The kids have been counting down the days until their bears could sleep at the library. They listened to a Teddy Bear story, sang Teddy Bear songs, played a Teddy Bear game, took a picture with their bear, sang them a lullaby, put them to bed and we will pick their bears up in the morning. They had so much fun!

Morning.

It comes so fast, especially since I stay up too late enjoying some alone time and trying to get everything under the sun done.

This summer, our mornings start around 6:00 am. Jett is the first to raise, he then wakes up Seri and they come pounce around in my bed while I try to get just 5 more minutes of sleep, which is impossible. This morning was started with 40 minutes of reading

(Jett was obsessed with a Scooby Doo chapter book.) and I was lucky to capture some of this morning's craziness in photos.

These two adorable faces are wonderful to wake up to every morning.

Since we were up and at 'em early, we decided to visit a local
donut shop for the first time.

We were then off to the library...one of our favorite places.
