TV That's Good For You
My pal ThinlyVeiled unleashed this on some of us, earlier.
Jesus crack-smoking Christ, I can't believe what a bunch of pansy-asses we have become. Seriously, now we're canceling movies because someone who may or may not be a fucking 14 year-old script kiddie eating Cheetos in his mom's basement has major corporations and the American public by the short ones? Fucking really? WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU GODDAMNED FUCKING MORONS? You're scared of the black people. You're scared of the gay people. You're scared of the brown people with funny names. You're scared to go to a fucking movie. You say NOTHING when some crazy white boy shoots up a classroom of FIRST GRADERS. You cheer when cops kill young, black men and when the CIA tortures and humiliates HUMAN BEINGS for no good reason, not that it would be the decent thing to do even if there WAS a reason or even if it worked, because, you know, FUCKING TORTURE, ASSHOLES. You're goddamned scared shitless bed-wetting thumbsucking daddy issue having asshole shitbird twatlint dingleberry eating worthless motherfucking cocknozzles, is what you are and I don't even want to know you. Go hide under your covers and let the rest of us get on with the business of being decent humans.
Ow.

Leaving Gnashvegas
Going, going... not quite gone.
A man, a scam... Panama.
I will miss Amy.
Wanda on the sidewalk just outside my room at The Broken Spoke. Less visible, here. This is not a good part of town. Handyman goob for the motel suggested I pull her into the room, overnight. "Maybe not, but thanks for the suggestion!"
I gave the driver of this the Evil Eye out the window, as he was idling outside my room for sometime, and a box truck can fully well-conceal a Wanda, any day.
I fear not being able to find a nearby Dollar Gen for my travel needs.

10 Print "Hello, world"
20 goto 10
Internet 30 minutes at a time, for now (and using Internet Explorer, of all thangs). Watch for my book in early 2016. ;)
Made it from Day 0 to Day 8, the latter of which is where my story will start. Gotta go a little Tarintino on ya just to keep things fresh and non-linear.
Can you believe I'm wearing a 34" waist in jeans, today? I cannot, I tell you now. I haven't been this skinny since senior year of high school, 34 years ago. Even these jeans need a belt if I am to walk (and I will have walked 5-10 miles by day's end, today; I should retrieve Wanda, tomorrow).
Is all well? Well, no. But they are improving vastly, I must say. Not terribly thrilled with the whole idea of AA meetings seven nights/week to keep a roof overhead, but it beats being eaten by a grue, I suppose. That's how I like to imagine it, anyway. My first meeting was last night, and hey, guess what? Everyone had to speak to the new guy, telling him how they'd all be running screaming at the evening's topic, which was the Magic Guy in the Sky. Parachutes, open minds... but skepticism, as you know is my natural state.
THANK all of you, and THANK THE FSM that I have friends like you. You especially, Ivy. :) Bob, nashvegasdawg, Sallyh, bluesman and Ed -- damn, I have no words, but I'll find them, soon. I'm going to do better after this reboot, and that's my promise to YOU.
I hope DWD and TV are doing much better, as well as jude9 and any others who I've lost track of in the last couple of weeks. You're all dear to me, and I hope you know that. I'll try to stay in touch here when I can. I can't recall the credentials for CatopiaTN.com just now, but as I have no cats, well... yeah. Progress will be made.

Little Projects To Keep Me Off The Streets
Sharpie on the peel-able translucent coating, to center up Solar LED Unit #1 on the 8"x10" Lexan panel, and using something that smells (and acts!) just like Tester's model airplane glue to make the bond. Damn, I'm age 12, again!
What the Finished Project looked like last night around 10:00. Only six of the eleven units are charged enough to be lit, now, but that's okay!
In charging mode, this afternoon, in the bathroom window, which faces west. Charge!
Shedding MAJOR photons, tonight!
"Closet" (such as it is in the farmhaus) re-org. L to R: proper hanging rod, $8 (DollarGen), hangars (6/$1, Dollar Tree), shirts (mostly Goodwill t-shirts, @ $3/ea), hanging closet organizer, $4.95 (Aldi), belt, $8 (DollarGen), Chino by Air-Tex canvas bag I use to haul laundry around, used as hamper in its present configuration, $0 (gift from a generous Atriot!).
Tuesday & Wednesday were good, productive days. It takes so little to make me happy. :)

Merry Xbox
... and Thank You to Lil Red and Bob for the very kind gift of the Xbox Cheer I am consuming in the photo, above. They were also so kind as to be replacing the rear tire on Wanda, unbeknownst to them.
And Soprano dropped off some awesome homemade cookies for me (and I actually wasn't here, as opposed to hiding out from a certain ex-GF who loves to show up unannounced this time of year... no visits that I know of, thusfar!). Between the delicious cookies and Lil Red's delectable New Mexican chocolates, my sweet tooth is well-placated. Thank you again, folx. Y'all are too awesome for words.
Bless you, each and every one, and I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season.

Danny Guam Comes To Twitty City
... to hear bluegrass tunes about doing LSD. That's what it's really all about, folx.
"Brentioch" = Part of town betwixt Brentwood (high-dollah) and Antioch (low-rent). .

Like Prog Rock?

| Clickee image above to start your Tuna listening experience |
If you like it, toss 'em some spare quatloos and download the high-quality files so that they'll keep doing it.
Personally, I'm completely impressed, and heartened that not all the young folx are on my lawn with their hippity hops!

Curly's Long-Haired Brother
... from another mother, further. This is Mikey, and he's not feeling tip-top. Let's all send good thoughts his way, right now. He is a very good kitteh.

Rest In Peace, Chris.
Chris Tucker, who passed on 6/14/2012. Very sorry to hear that he lost his battle with thyroid cancer. I really must build that DTV antenna for which he sent plans long ago.

OFFS.
Not a-fucking-gain?!
This is a new one: Type, and as soon as you pause, all characters typed vanish! And they're really gone!
Open thread for the wayward souls who wander by.
