I thought I would share a Christmas card that I located in my craft space overhaul. It was made by my friend Kathy. She puts such amazing detail into every single card that she constructs. Each card is worthy of being framed!
I enjoy stamping cards, even though I don't always have the time. My style is usually very simple. I'm from the less-is-more camp. Here are just some of the cards I have made.

celebrate today
I was intrigued by the Make It Monday #56 from Papertrey Ink. The challenge is to use a partially die cut image. I don't own any chipboard, so I had a hard time creating the right thickness to keep the one side from cutting, but it was fun to play with a die cut in a different way.
stamp: Papertrey Ink mat stack 4 & "celebrate today"
ink: A Muse slate; VersaFine onyx black
other: buttons, twine, mat stack 4 die cut, circle punch

{blank cupcake}
As soon as I saw the inspiration photo for the Papetrey Blog Hop challenge, I knew I had to make another rainbow card. The little dress up clothes, boots, toys, and books had me thinking of my little munchkins and how much they love cupcakes. So here it is: rainbows & cupcakes.
stamp: Papertrey cupcake pieces
ink: VersaFine onyx black
other: Papertrey cupcake dies; Papertrey button; Stickles xmas red; Sparkles aquamarine

a muse studio blog hop
If you are joining the blog hop, you should have arrived from Lianne's blog. If not, you can start all the blog hopping fun at Krystie's blog. There are a few prizes involved and not too many blog hop stops, so why not?! (The more blogs you comment on, the better your chances of winning A Muse goodies.) Even if you don't have time to comment, you'll get to see a variety of A Muse inspired cards.
I got really excited and made three cards! This first one only utilizes the A Muse stamps (no other A Muse products), but I wanted a shabby chic, rock look. Do you think I got it?
I did the inside on this card too. What do you think? If you are ready to shop, my webstore is now open!!
Okay, now on to Lisa C's blog. Thanks so much for stopping by! I have 6 more A Muse cards to share with you here, so start "following" and come on back to see the goodness.
Wait, one more thing! Want a little treat? Leave a commentand you'll be entered to win a prize (a yard of each of the deluxe kit's ribbon [1/4 in. stitched grosgrain in sky, french roast, & lime; 5/8 in. satin ribbon in cherry, orange, and bubblegum] ). This contest is now closed.

Next up, I wanted to do a white on white card and stick to only A Muse products. Plus I wanted to challenge myself to decorate the inside of a card (I usually like to leave the insides completely blank). What do you do with your card insides?
It's not much, but it's a step in the right direction.
Finally I wanted to make a kid card. My son will have lots of friends turning five this spring and summer and what five year old doesn't love rocketships?!
I did the inside on this card too. What do you think?

papertrey ink button challenge
Do you ever have that perfect card in your head, but your supplies just don't let you carry it out? That was this card. (Clearly I need to go buy more stamping goods.) I had some adorable "simply chartreuse" buttons but my Copics didn't match. Thus the black buttons. I still like the clean and simple look of this card though.
stamp: A muse pea pod & "sweet pea"
ink: Memento tuxedo black
other: buttons, Copic markers

happy new year 2011
Every year my mom's friend requests a set of New Years cards. I've been loving my Papertrey Library Pocket die cut so I decided to make a little tag pull-out on the front. The scrolls/swirls that are in VersaMark didn't show up in the photos.

ink: VersaFine onyx black, ColorBox parchment
other: Copic markers (YG03, Y11, G21, C1), Papertrey Ink harvest gold buttons, black gingham ribbon, white ribbon

happy birthday
My friend Maureen made this card for a Girls Card Night. We insided-out the card, stamped in the center of the white and then used an X-Acto knife to cut around one side of the flower. Fun idea!!
