reunion with our story

4 note(s) (Click here to add a note)

We had our wonderful feast last night at Jackson's place and it was really sad that Jessie went back early even before I arrived! Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our dinner and continued with our Mahjong game the whole night.

It has been awhile since we really spent such amount of time together... It was beautiful. Not only foods were superb with hams, sausages, cheese, roasted chicken coat with basmatic Vinegar, olives oil and mustard, wine was also at top quality, and we finished with Sara Lee amazing chocolate ice cream.

I love carrying my camera around just for some momentous, and I would just to share with you guys.

Here are some of my favorites:

year of the ox 2009 - according to the Chinese Zodiac

0 note(s) (Click here to add a note)

It is the year of the OX again here in 2009! Click here to read more.

I just want to wish all of you guys a very prosperity Chinese new year ahead!

I saw a cute pair of Oxes at the living this evening while mom was really busy preparing for the dinner, and I was too, busy cleaning the house.

I just can't stand for the excitement and decided to share a few pictures of the oxes here!

We Chinese believed that cleaning/ swiping during the Chinese new year celebration will chase away the good lucks. I just have to swipe and mop the floor for the very last time before the celebration begins.

Here goes the cuties...

Having fun with photographing!

I am also looking forward to our reunion dinner where once again our family would be united each year for a legendary banquet.

sessions with Holga

0 note(s) (Click here to add a note)

Own this piece of legend (Holga) a while ago and I have only done 10 rolls of films with it a long time ago.

Although, my experience to use this camera to compared with what I do use normally differs, I am very sure of what basics photography ability of mine would be producing from this camera.

Although, this may seems to be too plastic to what I am doing for my photography sessions, but the moods and dimensions from the picture produced is really different and it really brings out the feel of the photo itself dramatically.

Some of you may not op to an option to Holga, but I would like to announce that I am also available for any portraits/pre-weddings/lifestyles sessions if any of you whom are contemporary and artsy would require this service. The usual shooting sessions are still available for inquiries. Please do not be hesitate to contact me!

bangkok abstract 2 @ 16 : 9

A series of pictures portraited in 16:9 only, and stories about it...

Bangkok is always with the traffics, hours have been spent in the taxi just for traveling around the city. I know there are other ways to get around town, I was too tired to try for other options. I would just dozed off in the taxi while waiting for the next destination and taxi fares in Bangkok is real cheap.

bka9

Pretty congested... and I wondered how could they be so patience with it! My attention was caught to the triple team on a motorbike itself and for the sake of their lives, the little girl is not wearing helmet! On the other hand, this really shows the color of Bangkok, and it is just simply beautiful!

bka10

I was really bored while caught in the jam, me and my sister did a self portrait of ourselves. And the light was just simply amazing.

bka2

BTS train system in Bangkok is so advanced and it allow trains to travel to almost the whole of Bangkok on a level above ground. There is another train system which is MRT that allows trains to travel underground and it compliments the BTS coverage areas, and I could not get a chance to experience any journey with the MRT.

bka3

I am just simply amazed by the cleanliness in Bangkok, streets/areas were all so well maintained.

bka4

Hard Rock cafe is everywhere! which this was situated near Silom Square in Bangkok!

bka13

bka8

I am flabbergasted with the Chatuchak weekend market, almost everything you name can be found here. The scale of the place is humongous beyond your imagination. I bought quite a few pairs of local's designer tees which they are famous of and I love them so much.

bka1

Wats and temples are all around Bangkok, and they are just simple beautiful. We were traveling with the water taxi while I was taking this picture.

bka11

The sky was beautiful too, almost like a comfort blanket that hides the sun away from us, we just enjoyed the ride with with the chilling wind along Chao Phraya river.

bka6

We too visit the Grand Palace, the troop, were guarding the main entrance and I really love this picture.

bka7

The palace it self is really huge, which divides in to many areas, that includes its own temple that carries the name of the Emerald Buddha, sadly pictures were not allowed in many of the areas around the palace.

Malaysian batik duck

0 note(s) (Click here to add a note)
Remember a few days ago that I have posted something on What the duck? I am so much in love with the comic strips and the characters.

While I was exploring the site, there is a tab on Duck It Yourself, (basically a template of a He duck and a She duck with a set of designed duckies from everyone), you may design your own duck from the templates to give some creativeness and stories. After approval from the site, they may publish your work in the page!

I did a Duck It Yourself of my version, basically it represents Malaysia, and I love it! I sent it to them and they have approved to put my created ducky graphic on their site too.

Hope all Malaysians would love this piece of WHAT THE DUCK!

Please have a look at what the others have created, and give it a try too, will ya?
