Mom

Hi Everyone!
It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too. Our theme this time is "Mother's Day/For a Female.  I made this trio of goodies for my mother.    The papers have been in my stash for over a year.


 I made a Lapbook, a Starbook and of course a Flip Card.  Had a blast making it all.  Yep, used up more of my endless supply of stash.


I used a brand new Stampin' Up Framlits Circle Die to make my card.  It is so cool and easy to use.  Patty Bennett has a great video for it here.  The die really took all the stress out of trying to create a flip card!

The red button came from one of my old shirts and sentiment was recycled from a previous card.  


The Starbook was a project that Gail shared with us at our monthly crop.   Thanks Gail!  I got to use my neglected Bind it All.  There are loads of videos on how to make these awesome books.  Here's one of them from Expert Village.


I added some old pictures.  The paper was just too gorgeous so I tried to make sure it wasn't all covered up.  I love the way it turned out!

I used the same red file folder to create my flip card.  There is so much room inside this book.  My mother is going to use it for her paperwork.  I was able to use up almost an entire collection of paper.  Yippee!


I kept the embellishment to zero, this book will get a lot of use and needs to be functional.  I will be entering the following challenges:

Brody's Cute as a Bug!

Hi Everyone!
It seems like forever since my last real post!!  My how 2013 seemed to just fly by.  So many changes and adjustments in 2013.  My personal life has been in an uproar for sure!  Hopefully it  will be smoother sailing for me in 2014.  

Thank goodness for my papercrafts, although I don't seem to have the time to post all the time..I do find the time to create.  It's on to a New Year and new beginnings.

It's time for our midway reminder for our current challenge at Simply Create Too.  There is still plenty of time to join in! Our theme is a super easy one...you got it!  "Anything Goes".

I made all these cute goodies for my newest little nephew Brody.  I didn't have a ton of money to spend so I got super creative and had loads of fun doing it.  Babies seem to bring balance to our lives.
I made a card, Cupcake Onesies, a diaper bag filled with all kinds of stuff.  Did I say how carried away I got...lol  Warning!!! this post is loaded with lots of pics.


Inside the diaper bag I made a mini album, a door hanger,  card and so much more!








The diaper bag turned out great and held all the goodies with no problem!  I made sure to reinforce the handles and the bottom.  Just look at all that room.


Everything I used came from my endless supply of stash.  I incorporated the baby shower invitation into one of the mini album tags.


Once again I used lots of my stash and all my favorite tools!!  I will be entering these treasures into the following challenges:

Hi Everyone!
It's time for our midway reminder for our current challenge at Simply Create Too.  There is still plenty of time to join in! Our theme is "Halloween".

I made a boatload of these cute little Treat Boxes for my clients.  Dawn has a great tutorial and video here.  


They are super easy to make.  You can adjust the size too.  I used all my little left over scrap pieces and stamps from the dollar bin.

Vintage Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!
It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too.  Our theme this time is  "Vintage or Old".  Don't forget you have 2 weeks to enter.

I made this easy peasy card that fit our theme perfectly!  I can only take credit for adding the feather.  I got this as a freebie in one of my mags.  Yep, all I had to do was cut it out and presto, instant card.


Since my card was a no brainer and I didn't do anything but cut it out, no challenges...lol

Birthday for a Child


Hi Everyone!
It's time for our midway reminder for our current challenge at Simply Create Too.  There is still plenty of time to join in!  Our theme is "For a Child".

I for one am always in need of cards for the kiddos.  My little Birthday card is very, very CAS.  If it wasn't for the ribbon it would be a single layer card...

I dug out some of my ancient  SU stamps.  I almost forgot I had them.  Yep they be dino-mite!!! haha.  Everything I used came from my endless stash.  This little cutie will be going to someone very special.


Finished the inside with more stamping and one of my fave Happy Birthday stamps that I picked up at a yard sale.

Christmas in July!


Hi Everyone!
It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too. Our theme this time is a fun one and not one to expect in the midst of summer!  Here we go it's time for "Christmas in July"!


Ok I'm wrong, there seems to be a lot of Christmas in July going on!  I made these cute Treat Book Boxes for some special folk...oops too early to tell who.  


Not only are the insides cute, the added paper just makes them stronger.  And you know me, any chance to use my cuttlebug, embossing folders and some MS punches make my day!   I made a book size memory box a while a go.  You can view it here



Sometime ago Gail showed our Krafty Ladies group a larger version of these boxes that were inspired by Butternut Sage Designs.  I changed it up to make it smaller and easier to create..lol

Celebrate the 4th of July!



Hi Everyone!
