While Gavin was at the conference, Gavin II and I played miniature golf. We made it to hole #12 before the attention span ran out. He told me that golf takes too long :)So, Sunday night, we discovered ants in the bathroom at the hotel. We were staying at a Comfort Suites. So, I complained and we changed rooms to an ant-free room Sunday night. Then, Monday morning, there they were again - those tiny little sugar ants that get everywhere. That was it - I had it! I called the HUGE resort and spa next door and made reservations. I then went and complained again - this time explaining that we were checking out. The guy at the front desk actually asked if we would consider changing rooms - again. The answer was a polite NO.
So, we checked in to the luxurious Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa. It is gorgeous. 7 pools, miniature golf, arcade, spa, a marina - you get the idea. It's great, We are in a studio "villa". Every time we pass the Comfort Suites, Gavin II says "That's the hotel with the ants - we're not staying there anymore!"

I'm with you, I'd leave too. Two rooms with ants... don't think you'd have much luck switching again.
we've stayed at the westgate lakes resort and really enjoyed it. another great place is the marriott world center (great pool and spa).
I would have been scared to sleep in the beds of a hotel with ants. How yucky!
