So for the past two nights Maci has been waking up in the middle of the night at either 2 am or 1 am. I go in give her the Binky she fusses and then will doze back to sleep for like oh 2 min and then wake up so the first night she did this I fed her a bottle to see if maybe she was hungry which she ate it and I changed her and put her back in her crib that was no help just crying and crying so we let her come in out bed and sleep which she did. So last night at 1 am she woke up I went in gave her the Binky and stood there forever with her fussing dropping her Binky out of her mouth and then me putting it back in Trace was like just bring her in bed with us. I hate doing this because I don't want her to get in this habit but I figure a couple of times doesn't hurt right?? I tried very hard to keep her out of our bed last night since she slept in our bed the night before but that didn't happen and then she woke up again at 5 am. This really isn't like her at all she is a very good baby when it comes to going to bed at night she eats gets put in her crib with a little snuggle and a kiss goodnight and she goes to sleep with no problems and sleeps through the night but these past two nights she hasn't and I don't know if she is cutting teeth, has a belly ache and or acid reflex. You might ask how would I know if she has the last one well I have read that babies can get it and I wonder due to the fact she is always spitting up we have changed her formula's numerous of times and when she spits up sometimes she cries bloody murder?? I am an very exhausted mom and my every so often coffee morning's have turned into pretty much every morning. (bad I know) but I just wondered if you mom's out there could give any advise or know as to why she may be doing this. We take her to the doctor for her 4 month visit tomorrow and I had a list of questions for the doc. I love this little stinker and wish I could help her sleep.

K You HAVE to read "healthy sleep habits happy child" truely a life saver! it explains in the book at 4 months something developes in their brain and basically triggers night wakenings. It tells you how to handle it, and I can tell you it all works. This book saved my life, and alot of my friends!! Tessa Just turned 9 months and we had to go through that again, whats crazy is the book tells you when its going to happen and what to do!!! LOVE IT!!
No I haven't read it.That is great!! Oh thank you so much I am going to have to go pick that up!
Oh man I feel ya! Lola was a TERRIBLE sleeper at Maci's age. She's one of those babies that didn't know how to sleep on her own. I'll email you.
