Morning Everyone,
We have a new challenge starting over at As You Like It and we are asking "who is your favourite person to craft for?".
I love making for all family members, but I have chosen hubby this time. He knows I don't really like/make many masculine cards so when I make the effort for him he really appreciates it.
For this card I have used tool dies from Sweet Dixie. I have die cut them in snippets of red, grey and silver mirri card and arranged them around the die cut numbers. The sentiments are from a Woodware stamp set also containing diy tools. He is definitely a Mr. Fix It so I thought the words were very apt for him.

Morning Everyone,
We have a new challenge starting over at As You Like It and we are asking you to share a project using your favourite die.
Morning Everyone,
We're back at As You Like It after the Christmas break and asking to see your favourite type of card to make.
Mine are birthday cards. They're the ones I make the most and when they're for a family member I like to make them according to their interests when I can.
This one was for the grandson. He's mad about Spiderman and his friends and I found this image on Etsy. I tend not to colour images for little ones as they are quicker to make and they don't know whether it's hand coloured or not. This is a larger than normal card, A5 size, and all I had to do was print out the image and find papers to match, which are from a Doodlebug pad.

A new challenge is starting over at As You Like It and the theme is anything Christmas.
For my DT card I have chosen to have a play with a new die from Concord & 9th called Ornament Inlay die. I die cut it first in the off white cardstock and then, after I decided on the colours, added snippets of coloured card to the die and die cut again and again. The only bits I haven't used snippets on are the holly and leaves as I wanted a soft green so used ink on those. The circles in the middle are silver mirri card although they look black in the photo.
The sentiment is from a Woodware set and is heat embossed in silver.
We look forward to seeing all your Christmassy projects. I think I'm about done with mine now. I've been stamping the insides of my cards this week, which is my least favourite job. I suppose I should complete the insides as I finish a card then I wouldn't have them all to do at once!

Have a good day and thank you for visiting.

Good Morning Everyone,
Back again for the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It where we are asking you to share your projects containing a favourite critter.
Not in real life as I would freak if there was one in the house, but colouring wise I do love these cute mice with their big ears and they are easy to colour too. This is a digi stamp from Di's digi designs. I've had it for ages and never coloured it up before so thought it was time.
I have used copics to colour and papers from a pad which seems to have gone walkies so I can't remember the make. After I'd coloured quite a bit I had an ink mark where it couldn't be hidden so I fussy cut the image and glued it to another die cut circle. I thought it was ruined at first but then thought they would be fairly easy to cut out so that it what I did. The sentiment is from a Penny Black set.

Just lately mine seems to be this arch die from Spellbinders. It makes a change from the usual square, rectangle etc and looks good on whichever shape card you choose. A smaller arch die has been used to cut out the middle and make the frame.
I have used it with a digistamp by Louise Dunne which you can buy from CraftAddictionUK. I've coloured him with copics and to insert the background die, which is from Memory Box, I have fussy cut him up to his scarf and slid the tree die and snow layer underneath so there are 3 layers under the arch as well as the red mat layer. White glitter has been added to the trees and glitter glue to the snow. The labels are also from CraftAddiction.

Morning Everyone,
A mew challenge starts today at As You Like It and the theme is to share your favourite "Non Card Projects".
The only thing I am making at the moment that's not a card are these knitted poppies. Our village church has put a request in the local magazine for them as they want to make a cascade from the top of the church tower to the ground for Remembrance Day in November. I thought that gives me plenty of time to make a few so found two different patterns on the internet and these are the first four I've made.
I've actually run out of wool now as I didn't have a full ball so am awaiting a delivery of more tomorrow.

We have a new challenge starting over at As You Like It and we would like you to share a project featuring your favourite 2 colour combo.
I have chosen yellow and green as I think it's so clean and fresh looking. I have used another Altenew layering stamp set called Wildly Loved with various shades of yellow and cut everything out with their respective dies. The sentiment is from Crafter's Companion, which I've cut in a gold cardstock and a few gold sparkly enamel dots were added to finish it off.

Good Morning Everyone,
I hope everyone is well. We have a new challenge starting over at As You Like It and we are asking whether you prefer to have a sentiment on your cards or not (and don't forget to say why please).
I always put a sentiment on my cards. I think it finishes them off and it's also the first thing the recipient reads.
I have used these cute dies from Honey Bee stamps again called Bundle of Joy, but this time for a boy. I've just had a look at my last one and can't believe it's 2 years since I made it! Where does the time go to. I've used the same layout as before, but with snippets of more boyish papers. The Congrats die is from Creative Expressions and the strip underneath made on the pc.
