I just realized that I haven't posted in MONTHS.
I've been so busy.
We finally reached Omaha the 1st of May...
I can't believe it's been 4 months!
My mother-in-law passed away last month.
We got here just in time to get to spend some quality time with her.
My mother was diagnosed with brain cancer in June.
She is refusing all treatment
and says she is ready to go be with the Lord.
Last but not least,
my sweet hubby was diagnosed with leukemia in July.
As I said, I have been busy.
I'm here though and I'm doing well.
I've missed you all and hope to hear from you soon.

My heart goes out to you and your family, so many losses, so many life changing issues.... it's been one year since we lost my Dad, my sister went through chemo for fallopian tube cancer (the fourth sibling out of the six of us to have a form of cancer), our best friend is doing radiation for breast cancer...such hard things to go through... so I know a bit about what you must be going through right now. Thank God you had some quality time with your mother-in-law and I hope you will be able to have the same with your Mom. Be strong for your husband but take care of you as well.... I will be thinking of you and saying a little prayer often!!

I've missed hearing from you, and had written a few e-mail notes to you to see how you were doing. Now that I know about your mother-in-law, your mom and also hubby, I can totally understand why you haven't been in touch! My prayers are with you and your family.

I've been thinking about you a lot lately--and wondering how you're doing. I'm so sorry to hear about all you've been going through! I hope you & Hubby have good health insurance--or that he's at least able to receive quality care at Creighton or UNMC. I am so, so glad Lily has a sister now!
