2 posts in one day! That's unbelievable!

So, for quite some time now even before he was a crawling fiend, Caleb has preferred being vertical. Since he was a few months old he loved standing up. Lately, he has started to pull himself up by grabbing onto our thumbs. He also holds onto a finger from each of our hands to walk around the house (basically between from the living room to the kitchen and back again).

Yesterday morning we were just playing ball (rolling back and forth) when all of a sudden Caleb turned around to the chair and just pulled himself up like it was nothing. He has become quite proficient at pulling himself up just within the past several hours. Sometimes we don't even notice it until he is already up!

Because Caleb loves to walk around, we decided yesterday's achievement called for another attempt with his walker. He did so well!! He walked back and forth several times to Cheryl and I. We thought about taking pictures to document, but we didn't want to mess him up (he just knows when the camera is on). I'm sure we will be have more opportunities.

Noisy Boy

Just thought you guys might like to hear what I hear all the time now when Caleb is playing. He has become quite the noisy, chatty little boy so there is rarely peace and quiet in the house (not that there ever was)! :)

In reality, I actually think that Caleb is really trying to say hi (which is not evidenced by this video). It comes out as a conglomeration of "hi" and "hey" but he seems to say it pretty consistently when he sees somebody or in response to them saying hi to him! It could be coincidence, but I prefer to think that it's not.
