Six Weeks of Halloween - Week Three

Just 28 more days until Halloween (so say my Halloween Countdown Blocks), and today is the first day of my after school program, Halloween Scrapbooking.

I'm excited to teach nine elementary students (I have two boys in my class this time, hooray!) how to cut, stamp and embellish their way into the art of scrapbooking. And, with this sweet little Halloween Mini Album, they'll enjoy their work for years to come.

I used Close To My Heart's Quick Pic Album (Z1407) for perfect 6x6 layouts. I also used some retired products that I gobbled up last year from the Hooligans paper pack. Each student will get a Hooligans Level 1 Scrapbooking Kit that includes four preprinted pages, two B&T Duos, two Cardstock Sheets and two My Stickease Adhesive Sheets. They'll also get the My Stickease Hooligans Assortment, Boutiques Monster Mash (those adorable felt monsters with googly eyes) and a package of Mini-Medley in Pear. Check out their stash below:

Avonlea Mini Album

Check out this beautiful little mini album. It features the gorgeous Avonlea paper pack (with a few pieces of Scholastic) and some wonderful new ribbons from CTMH.

This album comes together so quickly and is really reasonably priced. It's a new Dimensional Element, Album Pages (Z1791), and coordinates with the new Cricut Artiste Cartridge (Z1790). There are six pages, front and back. Take a look at a few of the interior pages:

Idea Book Preview Week

Okay, on to today's featured product:

Cards.

I know what you're thinking..."The big sneak peak is a bunch of CARDS?" Hang with me for just a sec here. Below you'll see a little bit of everything CTMH has to offer that's new: paper, embellishments, stamps and Cricut Artiste shapes (yes, there's a NEW Cricut cartridge!)

The cards were designed by CTMH's Art Department and were given to us in pieces to put together at Convention in Dallas, TX two weeks ago. My favorite thing about them is that they mixed and matched paper from different paper packs...genius! (I'll list the papers and embellishments used at the end).

This card is my favorite:

Don't you love how there's a "card wrapper" that fits around the card!? I love the sentiment "let's hang out" and adore those little black sparkles at the waist of the dress. I can just see sending this card to a group of girlfriends, inviting them for a girls' night out!

The adorable sentiments are part of the new stamp set, Pun Fun (C1505)!
