An Impulsive Debutante in Australia

One of the great joys of the new month is to look at the various different Harlequin websites around the world and discover which of my books are out. This month, An Impulsive Debutante is out in Australia. This is great because A Christmas Wedding Wager was out there in December and An Impulsive Debutante is the linked book that tells Lottie Charlton's story. Lottie became one of my favourite heroines so I am very pleased she is going places. And it is amusing that both the UK and Australia marketed AID as Regency as it is early Victorian.

I still have no idea when AID will be out in the US though.

My current wip is getting better, but I keep changing my mind about the ending. Proactive not passive. Anyway, I think I have finally discovered the right way. Sometimes, you have to try and get it wrong, before you can get it right.

Sold and Seduced in Australia

On the off chance, I happened to glance at Harlequin Mills and Boon Australia and there it was -- Sold and Seduced. It is being released under their Quills progamme. This time as part of a duo with Gail Whittiker -- called A Secret Seduction.
Romance Junkies gave Sold and Seduce a 5 ribbon rating and said Michele Styles is a much beloved historical author and SOLD AND SEDUCED is a prime example of the reason why her fans are so devoted. With characters so vivid you can see them in your mind’s eye and a plot that will keep you glued to the pages awaiting each battle of wills between Fabius and Lydia. There’s an undertone of some wrong doing from someone associated with Lydia’s father but we’re kept in suspense until near the end of the book. I loved the historical aspect to the storyline and was fascinated by the different types of marriage and Lydia’s horrified reaction to what she perceived as being forced into an archaic marriage. I have to confess I love how Fabius challenges Lydia with the kissing wager. There’s no doubt that it gets her thinking about kissing him constantly and actually seems to bring them closer rather than destroy their relationship.
You can read an excerpt from Sold and Seduced here.

A Noble Captive out in Australia

I found out today that A Noble Captive has been released in the Australian/New Zealand market as part of a 2 in 1 Quills duo -- Noble Beauty. The other half is An Unconventional Widow by my good friend Georgina Devon. I think the cover is very pretty.
A Noble Captive did get some good reviews.
Romance Junkies said: Rarely explored in historical romance, this time period sets A NOBLE CAPTIVE apart from the norm. The island temple comes alive as well as its people's customs with Michelle Styles' unique blend of historical detail and intrigue. Her style is distinctive and made me feel as if I was right there experiencing it all with the characters. I felt the impending storm of emotions and smelled the salt air through her words. An exciting adventure with strong characters you'll root for, A NOBLE CAPTIVE will enchant you. 4.5 Ribbons.

I had no idea that it was out until Donna Alward spotted it. She was looking for her book --Hirde by the Cowboy that is being published this month in the US and the UK, as well as the Australian market. Anyway, it is ending up being better travelled than Donna...
