Uniko March 2026 Non-Release Brand Ambassador Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hi there

Today the Uniko Brand Ambassadors are taking part in a non-release inspiration hop, revisiting products from the January/February 2026 releases.

I decided to once again ink up the Ink & Flip Layering Retro Flowers stencil set.  This design is so cute, but striking at the same time, I just love it.  And Uniko fans obviously love it too as I see it is currently sold out!

I wanted to use Spring colours this time so stuck with pastel shades...

I first inked the pink flower halves, then flipped and inked up the blue halves.  Then for the centres I used two shades of yellow.  I wanted to keep this as a one layer card so I stamped a simple sentiment from the Spring Botanicals Primrose set directly over the top, then finished the card by adding some bubble gems.

Materials used:
  • Stencils: Uniko - Ink & Flip Layering Retro Flowers
  • Stamp: Uniko - Spring Botanicals Primrose
  • Ink: Altenew - Rose Quartz, Sea Glass, Buttercream, Sunray; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Accents: Little Things from Lucy's Cards - Bubbles

Be sure to leave some comments on the Brand Ambassador blogs or social media.  You can find all the links over at the Uniko bloghere.  By leaving comments along the way you will be in with a chance of winning some goodies.  All the details are on the Uniko blog post.

Thanks for taking a look, I appreciate your visit.

Uniko January 2026 Release - Introducing...Stencil - Bauhaus Spring Blocks

Hi there

It's the first day of the Uniko January Release introductions.

Just a mini release this time so the team are showcasing one new product each day this week.  And first up is another builder stencil set...Bauhaus Spring Blocks.

For this card, I used the stencils just as they are, without extending the pattern, and I've also added a sentiment which is from the Doodle Flowers stamp set...

I referred to my Color Cubes to find a colour palette I liked for this card and just used three main shades off the card, as close as I could from my stash.  I simply built the pattern blending through the three stencils in turn and then stamped the sentiment from stamps in the Doodle Flowers set in black ink.  To finish, I added three hearts from a pack of sprinkles.

Materials used:
  • Stencils: Uniko - Bauhaus Spring Blocks
  • Stamps: Uniko - Doodle Flowers
  • Ink: Distress Ink - Saltwater Taffy, Peacock Feathers, Pumice Stone; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Accents: Little Things from Lucy's Cards - Sprinkles: Scattered Hearts Multi

For lots more inspiration from the rest of the team using this fab new stencil set, please do visit the Uniko blog, here.  I'll be back tomorrow to introduce another of the new products.

All the new products will be available from Saturday 31 January 2026 at 9am GMT.

I hope you'll pop back over the next few days to check out the other new products.

Uniko August 2025 Release - Introducing...Background Blocks Swiss Dots

Good morning

More from Uniko this morning and it's the introduction of a stamp which I think will be super useful in any crafter's stash - Background Blocks Swiss Dots.

I have two cards for you today, one using the stamp as a background and another using it as the main focal point.

Here's the first and I've used it with the floral image from Pure Florals Cosmos and a greeting from Organic Blooms...

I began by stamping the Cosmos on a white cardstock panel and colouring with Copics.  I then masked the image before stamping the background dots in a gradient of three shades of aqua/teal.  I then stamped the greeting in black ink before matting and layering onto some co-ordinating lilac cardstock, flat to the card base.

Materials used:

  • Stamps: Uniko - Background Blocks Swiss Dots, Pure Florals Cosmos, Organic Blooms
  • Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black; Altenew - Dew Drops, Aqualicious, Teal Cave; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Coloured with Copics
  • Cardstock from stash

For my second card I made the dots the focus and added a sentiment from the Simply Said Blocks II set...

On a die cut panel I started by stamping and heat embossing the dots in white.  I then masked around the rectangle and ink blended with three shades of Distress Oxides, the dots resisting the ink.  I then wiped over the design with a soft cloth to remove any excess ink on the dots.  The panel was adhered flat to the card base and I then stamped and cut out the sentiment and finished with some co-ordinating enamel dots.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Background Blocks Swiss Dots; Simply Said Blocks II
  • Ink: VersaMark; Distress Oxide - Kitsch Flamingo, Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Embossing Powder: Brutus Monroe - Alabaster
  • Die: Create a Smile - Cool Cuts Double Stitched Rectangles
  • Accents: Doodlebug Sprinkles - Limeade, Blue Jean and Bubblegum Assortments

To see more projects using this versatile stamp, pop on over to the Uniko blog, here.  I'll be back tomorrow to introduce the final two products included in this release.

All the new products will be available from this coming Sunday, 10 August 2025 at 9am BST.

I hope you're enjoying these showcases and would love you to pop back tomorrow.

Uniko - April 2025 Release - Introducing...Butterfly Serenade

Hi there

It's back to work for me today after a relaxing few days at home for Easter.  I hope you've had a lovely break and you may be one of the lucky ones who also have the rest of the week off.

It's day one of the new Uniko introductions and first up is Butterfly Serenade...another lovely set to join the existing Serenade series.  The set includes the main cascading image, a couple of sentiments, as well as more individual butterflies and flowers.

Here's my first card using the set...

I used the main image on this card, stamped onto some blue cardstock with a pale ink.  I then coloured the butterflies with Copics and then restamped (left the stamp in my MISTI for placement accuracy) and heat embossed in white.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in white, adhered the panel to my card base and finished by adding some small silver gems.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Butterfly Serenade
  • Ink: VersaMark
  • Coloured with Copics
  • Embossing Powder: Brutus Monroe - Alabaster White
  • Cardstock and gems from my stash

And now my second card, where I combined this stamp set with another, Just Because...

On a die cut panel I stamped the foliage from the Just Because set in the lower left corner.  I then stamped the large butterfly in black and coloured with Copics, and then stamped the solid butterfly images in co-ordinating shades.  I stamped the sentiment and the flowers, both from the new set, before adhering the panel to the card base using 3D foam.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Butterfly Serenade, Just Because
  • Ink: Altenew - Frayed Leaf, Aquaicious, Teal Lake, Deep Iris; Memento - Tuxedo Black; Versafine Clair - Nocturne; Copics
  • Die: Create a Smile - Cool Cuts Double Stitched Rectangles

For lots more inspiration from the rest of the team using this stamp set, take a look at the Uniko blog, here.  I'll be back tomorrow to introduce another of the new products.

All the new products will be available from next Sunday 27 April 2025.

I hope you'll pop back throughout the coming week.

Uniko - Revisiting Sunshine & Rainbows

Hi there

Today the team are revisiting one of Uniko's beautiful stamp sets - Sunshine & Rainbows.

This is a great set for creating cards where you want to give the recipient a boost.  It also blends so well with so many other products from Uniko.

By visiting each of the Brand Ambassadors along the hop, starting at the Uniko blog, here, you're in with a chance of winning a £25 eGift Certificate.

I have three cards to share with you today.  I am loving the whole boho rainbow theme that is being seen a lot in home interiors, particularly the muted colours used, and Bev's rainbow design is definitely that style too.  So two of my cards are leaning towards that theme, and my third is more traditional.

Ok, here's my first...

I stamped the cloud first and then masked it before stamping the rainbow elements one by one in these muted shades.  I used the hearts as the raindrops, together with some tiny silver gems.  I then finished with the sentiment stamped in the same dark blue shade that appears in the rainbow.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Sunshine & Rainbows
  • Ink: Altenew - Dew Drops, Sand Dunes, Mountain Mist, Pink Pearl, Nimbus, Pumpkin Pie
  • Accents: Small silver gems from stash

This boho style is very present at the moment, particularly in nursery decor so I thought this would work quite well as a card to celebrate a birth too...

This one was super simple to create, a purely stamped one layer card.  I stamped each arch in different shades (slightly different to the previous card) and finished with a heart in the centre in a blush shade.  The Congratulations greeting is from the Flower Power #3 stamp set.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Sunshine & Rainbows, Flower Power #3
  • Ink: Altenew - Sand Dunes, Mountain Mist, Pastel Sunrise, Nimbus, Pumpkin Pie, Blush

And now for the more traditional rainbow...

On a die cut panel I stamped the clouds first and heat embossed in white.  With these masked, I then stamped each coloured arch and then stamped again with VersaMark and heat embossed in clear, to trap the colours beneath.  This then enabled me to ink blend the blue over the top without it blending over the colours already stamped.  I heat embossed part of the sentiment in white on a black strip and stamped the remainder of the greeting in black.  Finished with the raindrops and hearts and adhered the panel flat to the card base.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Sunshine & Rainbows
  • Ink: Altenew - Caribbean Sky, Crimson, Fresh Lemon, Parrot, Persian Blue, Deep Iris, Pinkalicious; Versafine Clair - Nocturne; VersaMark
  • Embossing Powder: Wow! - Opaque Bright White, Clear Gloss
  • Dies: Create a Smile - Cool Cuts Scalloped Rectangles; Altenew - Featured Sentiments

Thanks for visiting today and good luck if you comment along the hop.  Bev is also running a Facebook challenge in the Private Uniko Group, here, so why not play along there too.  The challenge is to use the Sunshine & Rainbows set or to make a card in rainbow colours using Uniko products.  The choice is yours.  All you need to do is upload a photo to the relevant challenge album within the group for a chance to win a £10 eGift Certificate.

Thanks again for taking a look, I appreciate your visit.

Uniko Celebrating 13 Years - Introducing...Alphabet Solid and Background Blocks Waves

Hi there

It's day three of the Uniko Birthday new release introductions and today the team are showcasing two new fantastic stamp products.

There is a companion to join the large Alphabet Outlined stamp set and another addition to the Background Blocks series.  Say hello to Alphabet Solid and Background Blocks Waves.

Here's my first card which combines the two new products, as well as a stamp from the Balloon Bash stamp set...

On a die cut panel I began stamping the waves in rainbow colours, one wave at a time, masking the others.  Once complete I then stamped the H, B, 2 and U stamps from the new set in black, as well as the stars accent stamp from the Balloon Bash set.  Adhered the panel to the card base and that completed the card.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Background Blocks Waves, Alphabet Solid, Balloon Bash
  • Ink: Altenew - Ruby Red, Orange Cream, Maple Yellow, Parrot, Persion Blue, Hydrangea; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Die: Create a Smile - Cool Cuts Scalloped Rectangles

And I went super CAS with my second card and used additional stamps from Background Builders Hearts and Always & Forever...

It's been a long time since I went super simple with a card and I love this one layer card.  It consists of just four stamps.  Two letters from the Alphabet Solid set, together with an additional heart, sentiment and one single gem.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Alphabet Solid, Background Builders Hearts, Always & Forever
  • Ink: Altenew - Coral Berry, Ruby Red; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Accent: Small silver gem from stash

And for my final card, another super simple one layer make where I've also used the Flower Power #4 stencil and a stamp from the You Are, Yes You stamp set...

Again, I just adore how this turned out.  Clean and simple designs make my heart happy!  I blended the flower off the edge, using three shades of Distress Ink.  Stamped two letters from the Alphabet Solid set and the remainder of the greeting in black ink.

Materials used:
  • Stencil: Uniko - Flower Power #4
  • Stamps: Uniko - Alphabet Solid, You Are Yes You
  • Ink: Distress Ink - Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon; Versafine Clair - Nocturne

As always, Bev and my fellow Brand Ambassadors have lots more inspiration over on the Uniko blog, here.  The introductions continue tomorrow where we will be introducing a co-ordinating floral stamp set and stencil set.

All the new products will be available from Friday 28 February 2025.

Thanks for taking a look and I hope you'll pop back again tomorrow.

Uniko Celebrating 13 Years - Introducing...Stencil Layering Bright Butterflies & Re-Introducing Bright Butterflies Clear Stamps

Hi there

More introductions today from the upcoming new release from Uniko.

Bev has used a previous stamp set as inspiration for this gorgeous new layering stencil set...Bright Butterflies.  And even better....she's bringing back the Bright Butterflies stamp set too!

These stencils create the most beautiful butterflies, three in total, together with additional design elements.

Here's my first card using the stencils, and I've used them here with stamps from the Happy Days and Just Because stamp sets...

I've used the stencils to create two different butterfly designs and then fussy cut them out.  On my card base I've stamped foliage from the two stamp sets in shades of grey and the sentiment in black ink.  The bodies of the butterflies are adhered flat to the card base and I've used narrow thickness 3D foam to adhere the wings and add a little dimension.

Materials used:
  • Stencils: Uniko - Layering Bright Butterflies
  • Stamps: Uniko - Happy Days, Just Because
  • Ink: Altenew - Puffy Heart, Hydrangea, Andromeda, Mountain Mist, Lagoon, Galactic Stream, Limestone, Industrial Diamond; Versafine Clair - Nocturne

And now my second card using the returning Bright Butterflies stamp set...

I began with a die cut panel and stamped the three butterflies in similar tones, but getting brighter from bottom to top.  I masked the lower and upper butterflies and stamped the cloud from the Sunshine and Rainbows stamp set.  I then used a stencil from my stash to ink blend the sun rays.  I finished by stamping the sentiment and flight trail from the set in black ink,

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Bright Butterflies, Sunshine & Rainbows
  • Stencil: Clearly Besotted - Sunny Day
  • Ink: Altenew - Blush, Coral Bliss, Ruby Red, Morning Frost, Warm Sunshine; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Die: Create a Smile - Cool Cuts Scalloped Rectangles

For lots more inspiration from the rest of the team using these stencils and stamps, take a look at the Uniko blog, here.  I'll be back tomorrow to introduce two more products from this new release.

All the new products will be available from Friday 28 February 2025.

Have a great week.

Uniko January 2025 Release - Introducing...Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem and Sparkle Sentiments

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a great time seeing in 2025.

It's also day two of the latest introductions at Uniko

The first of today's introductions is a new addition to the Ink & Flip collection - Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem - Bev just can't stop knocking out these great designs!  And the second is a fab new stamp set that works so well with the stencil set - Sparkle Sentiments.

Here's the first of my cards which uses both of these new products...

I chose to use some pearlescent cardstock for this one.  I ink blended just the central part of the gem stencil set in two shades of pink ink and then cut it out.  I mounted it onto a die cut panel of the same cardstock and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, before adhering the panel flat to the card base.  The camera has washed out the inking a little here but I wanted to capture the pearlescent effect.

Materials used:
  • Stencil: Uniko - Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem
  • Stamps: Uniko - Sparkle Sentiments
  • Ink: Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry, Kitsch Flamingo; VersaMark
  • Embossing Powder: Wow! - Metallic Platinum
  • Die: Create a Smile - Cool Cuts Double Stitched Rectangles
  • Cardstock from stash

And for my second card I used both of the Ink & Flip stencils, together with the stamp set...

I began by inking through the background stencil with lemon and aqua inks which, when overlapped, created the green shade.  I then used lilac and blue inks to create the gem in the centre.  To finish I added sentiments from the stamp set, some embossed in silver sparkle.

Materials used:
  • Stencils: Uniko - Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem
  • Stamps: Uniko - Sparkle Sentiments
  • Ink: Altenew - Citrus Burst, Mountain Mist, Icy Water, Soft Lilac; VersaMark; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Embossing Powder: Wow! - Metallic Silver Sparkle

And my final card for today is super simple and I've used just the stamp set...

I placed all the stamps in my MISTI and then stamped multiple times using inks in rainbow order diagonally, overlapping to create blends from one colour to the next.  With my stamps still in place I finally stamped them again using VersaMark and then heat embossed in clear gloss.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Sparkle Sentiments
  • Ink: Altenew - Crimson, Orange Cream, Warm Sunshine, Forest Glades, Caribbean Sky, Hydrangea, Pinkalicious; VersaMark
  • Embossing Powder: Wow! - Clear Gloss

Why not visit the main Uniko blog, here, for more inspiration.  Bev and the Brand Ambassadors are sharing lots of great makes showcasing these products today.

All the new products will be available from Sunday 5 January 2025.

I hope you'll pop back tomorrow where myself and the team will be introducing another new stamp set and a new stencil.

Uniko June 2024 Release - Introducing...Flower Power #10

Good morning and happy Friday!

How have you been enjoying the Uniko new release introductions over the last few days?  Well, it's Day 4 and the last of the introductions today and Bev has worked her magic and is giving us yet another Flower Power set!  Welcome to Flower Power #10!

This set has a Mid Century Modern vibe so will work well with many existing products in the Uniko catalogue.

Ok, I have two examples for you using this one and first up created a row of three flowers coloured with three shades...

This was super easy.  The stems were stamped, equally spaced and then I added the flower heads.  All coloured with Copics, the panel die cut using a stitched rectangle die and a sentiment from the same set stamped below.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Flower Power #10
  • Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black; Versafine Clair - Nocturne
  • Coloured with Copics
  • Die: Create a Smile - Cool Cuts Double Stitched Rectangles

And on my second card I've combined Flower Power #10 with the solid images from the Mid Century Modern Florals set...

I stamped the stem first then stamped the leaves and circular flower head image, all these being from Mid Century Modern Florals.  I then stamped the linear images over the top, finishing with the sentiment below.  A quick and easy one layer, CAS card.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Flower Power #10, Mid Century Modern Florals
  • Ink: Altenew - Autumn Blaze, Aqualicious, Olive; Versafine Clair - Nocturne

Don't forget to see more from the team on the main Uniko blog, here.

Pop back tomorrow to see full release revealed in its entirety.  All the products will be available to purchase from 9am BST tomorrow.

I'll also be sharing another sample card.

Uniko June 2024 Release - Introducing...Flower Power #9

Hi there

It's Day 2 of June release introductions from Uniko and next up is a fantastic set to add to the Flower Power series...Flower Power #9.  This set also works well with a few other products already available from Uniko.

I went super simple with this card, a one layer card with stamping and minimal colouring...

I stamped the flower, stem and leaves in Copic-friendly ink and then coloured them in with co-ordinating Copics.  The remaining images and sentiment were simply stamped and all of these elements are from the new set.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Flower Power #9
  • Ink: Memento - Cantaloupe, New Sprout; Versafine Clair - Nocturne, Morning Mist
  • Coloured with Copics

And for my second card I combined images from the set with a honeycomb embossing folder I had in my stash...

I started by embossing a panel using the embossing folder and then came the time-consuming part.  I stamped the florals and bees inside each of the hexagons and then coloured with Copics.  This was then trimmed down and adhered to the card base.  The sentiment, also from the new set, was stamped and heat embossed in white on a die cut strip of black cardstock.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Flower Power #9
  • Embossing Folder: Stampin' Up - Honeycomb
  • Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black; VersaMark
  • Coloured with Copics
  • Embossing Powder: Wow! - Opaque Bright White
  • Die: Altenew - Featured Sentiments

There is lots more inspiration over at the Uniko blog, here where the team are sharing their projects.

The entire release will be available to purchase from 9am BST on Saturday 29 June 2024.

Another introduction will follow tomorrow so, if you have time to pop back, please do take a look.

Uniko June 2024 Release - Introducing...Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Hexagon

Good morning!

Welcome to Day 1 of the introductions for the upcoming June release at Uniko.

I think you'll agree that Bev has been so clever with the Ink & Flip stencil sets she has designed so far and you've guess it, we have another for you...the Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Hexagon Stencil.  It' another set of two.

Here's my first card, using both of the stencils together...

First I inked up the outer background, first ink blending in  pale green and then, after flipping, in a cloudy blue.  Next I used the second stencil to create the inner hexagon, ink blending with two shades of yellow to create some dimension.  The bees are from the Bee Happy stamp set as well as a new set we will be sharing tomorrow, and the sentiment is from an existing stamp set called Zesty.  I finished by adding some shimmer to the bees' wings.

Materials used:
  • Stencil: Uniko - Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Hexagon
  • Stamps: Uniko - Bee Happy, Flower Power #9, Zesty
  • Ink: Altenew - Minty Mint, Cloudy Sky, Warm Sunshine, Honey Drizzle; Versafine Clair - Nocturne, Misty Morning; Memento - Tuxedo Black
  • Accents: Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen - Crystal Clear

And for my second card I used just the central hexagon, along with stamps from the Bee Happy set and the new set being introduced tomorrow...

This one layer card was so quick and easy to create.  I inked up the hexagon in two shades of ink, flipping halfway through to create the full design.  Then stamped the sentiment from the Bee Happy set and the bee and flight trail which is from a new set, also in this release.

Materials used:
  • Stencil: Uniko - Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Hexagon Stencil
  • Stamps: Uniko - Bee Happy, Flower Power #9
  • Ink: Altenew - Warm Sunshine, Honey Drizzle; Versafine Clair - Nocturne, Misty Morning

And finally, I decided to use the stencils to create some gems...

I used two co-ordinating shades of each colour to create these gemstones, masking off the previous one as I went.  Then it was just a case of stamping the bold sentiment, which is from the Birthday Sentiments stamp set.  Another one layer card.

Materials:
  • Stencils: Uniko - Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Hexagon
  • Stamp: Uniko - Birthday Sentiments
  • Ink: Altenew - Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Hydrangea, Ultraviolet, Aqualicious, Teal Cave; Versafine Clair - Nocturne

To see more projects and this stencil set in action my fellow Brand Ambassadors are sharing more makes over at the main Uniko blog, here.

This stencil, along with all the products being introduced this week will be available from 9am BST on Saturday 29 June 2024.

I'll be back tomorrow with another introduction so please do pop back to take a look.

Uniko Celebrating 12 Years - Introducing...Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments

Hi there

It's Day 3 of the 12th Birthday/February release introductions from Uniko and today is the turn of another series addition...Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments.

I made two super clean and simple one layer cards to showcase this new set.

First up I paired the sentiment with some images from the Mid Century Modern Florals set...

This is so simple it doesn't really need a tutorial.  Just simple stamping of separate elements.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments, Mid Century Modern Florals
  • Ink: Altenew - Versafine Clair - Nocturne; Altenew - Marshland, Evening Gray, Desert Night, Dew Drops, Autumn Blaze

And my second card is just as simple but this one combined the sentiment with the Mid Century Modern Shapes stencil and one part of the Layering Bauhaus Blocks stencil...

I inked up the soft shapes first and then stamped the sentiment.  I felt it needed something else so I added the three vertical lines which are a small section of the Bauhaus Block stencil.  Another simple one.

Materials used:
  • Stamps: Uniko - Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments
  • Stencils: Uniko - Mid Century Modern Shapes, Layering Bauhaus Blocks
  • Ink: Versafine Clair - Nocturne; Altenew - Marshland, Dew Drops, Desert Night, Evening Gray

Don't forget that the Brand Ambassadors are all sharing more projects over on the main Uniko blog, here.

The entire release will be available to purchase from 9am GMT on Sunday 18 January 2024.

I'll be back tomorrow to introduce another new stamp set.  I hope you can take a look.
