Our day trips have been few and far between this summer. Life has been, well, life .. and we've been staying consistently busy.
One of my favorite things about Jacksonville is that there are endless places to go for day trips that are "just around the corner". Mix me and Scott's love for adventure and our love for water -- and Jacksonville is the perfect place for us.
Today was one of the rare days that Scott and I had off together without any other plans. So, we headed out to Blue Spring State Park. Surprisingly, I had never been there.
As usual, we had a blast. I'm bummed they don't have camping, but in the fall and winter -- swimming is not allowed and the manatees swim free. You can be certain we'll be back!
