Let's Pawty Cards with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #480

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a split background with a central oval panel.  My card features "Let's Pawty" black embossed on white and white embossed on black.  The panels were then cut on the diagonal and combined to create these two cards.  The card on the left has a Raspberry and Black Glossy Mat and a pair of wiggle eyes.  The card on the right has a larger Raspberry mat with a silver foil mat.  The greetings are from "For All Occasions".  Raspberry ink was used for the sentiments.

Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, July 10 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Please stop by our blog on Wednesday to see what the rest of the talented Design Team has to inspire you.

I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

Raspberry card stock, Bluebird card stock, Raspberry Shimmer Trim and Bluebird Shimmer Trim were added as accent elements.

Here is the fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout:

Butterflies For You with Tuesday Morning Sketch #525

When I saw this fascinating sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches I thought of an underused retired Close to My Heart paper pack called Some Kind of Wonderful with its huge circles and bright colors.  I paired it with a current CTMH stamp set called Butterflies for You from the Every Little Thing Cardmaking Kit and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.  The background color and sentiment color is Raspberry.

June Joyful Stars Blog Hop Floral Thinking of You Cards

Welcome back to another Joyful Stars Blog Hop! We are a group of Close to My Heart consultants who share something each month on the 9th and at 9PM EST. If you are coming from Debi Brile's blog you are on the right track. (The complete lineup is on Joyce's blog in case you get lost.) Have fun being inspired!

I have two bright and cheery Thinking of You cards to share with you this month.  The first follows the current Freshly Made Sketch #391 using Craft On patterned paper, Floral Delivery Stamp, Carolina Card Stock, Bluebird Card Stock and Bluebird Ink.

Although you can't see it in the above photo, the floral panel was dipped in Versamark Ink and clear embossed to create a shiny surface. Here is a different view so you can see the glossy effect.

This is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch that inspired my card layout:

My second card follows Case This Sketch #325 and features Pixie Card Stock, Raspberry Card Stock, Floral Delivery stamps, Raspberry Ink and Black Ink.  The frame was cut with Stitched Rectangular Frames.  The stamped flowers were fussy cut and embellished with White Enamel Dots.

This is the sketch that inspired my second card:

Now it's time to head over to Joyce Hauck's blog --I'm sure you'll be inspired by what she has to share.

Sunday Stamps Sketch #198 with Heartfelt Thank You

When I saw this wonderful Sunday Stamps Sketch I knew I had the perfect new stamp to feature in this challenge.  The "Thank You in Heart" stamp is called Heartfelt Thank You from Close to My Heart.  The pink polka dotted paper is from Heart Happy paper pack (available only until 2/28/19)  I used a Heart Thin Cut to make the background heart from Pixie Card Stock.  The background Card Stock is Raspberry.

Although I don't know the source of the ribbon or twine the jeweled flowers are from the Paper Studio.

This is the fabulous Sunday Stamps Sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering the this card into the following challenges:

Gimme Sugar Birthday Card

My youngest sister is celebrating a birthday on Friday the 13th and I'm sending her this lovely card made with Close to My Heart Gimme Sugar paper and Sunny Thoughts stamp set (March Stamp of the Month--now retired).

The hearts were die cut with CTMH Hearts Thin Cut Dies and then dipped in Versamark Ink and then embossed with Polysparkle Tinsel Embossing Powder (retired CTMH) to give it some sparkle.  The greeting was stamped in Raspberry Pigment Ink and also embossed with Polysparkle Tinsel Embossing Powder.  The gingham strip is from the Gimme Sugar paper pack also.

The inspiration for my card layout came from Case This Sketch #266:

I made a second card with the same materials but rotated it.

Which card do you like better?

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #247 3 Ways

Have you been inspired to create something using this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch yet?  I created 3 cards off this one fabulous sketch!  The first card uses recycled cellophane under a window panel I created in Design Space with Close to My Heart colors Pomegranate and Bashful.

This picture was shot from a different angle so you can see how shimmery the butterfly is with the application of the Close to My Heart Clear Shimmer Brush.  The sentiment is from Heartfelt Thoughts.

Since I had already created the window panel in Design Space I decided to experiment with some brighter colors.  The three vertical panels were inlaid into the contrasting window frame.  (If you would like to use my Design Space file go here.) The floral paper is from the Adventure Fundamentals paper pack and the blue is Sapphire card stock.  The bow in the first card is from the Ribbon Border Thin Cut Die and the flower and greeting are from the Chelsea Gardens Cardmaking Stamp Set.
The sketch was rotated 90 degrees to create my last card using this sketch.  The Chelsea Gardens flowers were stamped on Raspberry card stock and then brushed with White Wink of Stella.  The sentiment is from the Happy Heart stamp set.  Glossy White Nuvo Crystal Drops were applied to the flower centers.

I would love to know which card you like best--you can leave me a comment down below.

Here is the fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch that inspired all 3 of my cards:

The challenge will remain open until Sunday evening, January 21 at 9PM ET.  We would love to see how you are inspired to create with this great sketch!

I'm also entering my cards into the following challenges:
Through the Craft Room Door--Anything Goes
      Crafting From the Heart--Anything Goes
