This is going to be a short post, since I don't have a ton of pictures. That's because I wasn't as insane about polish back in the day. Riiiight. So I've got a bunch of pink and red comparisons to share with you. And I'd better hurry, I've got chores to get done! Here we go!

Like I said earlier, I'm sharing some past Halloween manicures with you today. As you can probably guess, there is lots of black and orange in today's post. Hee. Anyway, I'd better get this thing going, and then get to work on my chores. We really would like to get the new floors down before the end of the year, but the likelihood is that it will be sometime next spring before it happens. Hopefully not longer than that. So yeah, let's take a look.

I've got a real quick Flashback today, some comparison pictures. When I first started getting really into nail polish, I wanted to collect some of the rarer polishes, and I did manage to get some pretty neat ones. Two that I really wanted are China Glaze Wet Velvet and OPI Real Teal. Once I had them, I saw how similar they are, and made comparisons. Today I'll show you those pictures.

Today's Flashback is a mani that takes the form of a Funky French! So it's like, totally an F kinda mani all the way around. However, if I were grading, an F would not be happening, because this one actually turned out quite nice. Let's pop on in and take a peek, shall we?

Today I have a flashback mani that is kinda abstract, and pretty autumn-like in color. The temperature has been dropping a bit lately, and summer truly seems to be over. That makes me sad and happy, because while I love summer and will miss it, I also love snow, and will enjoy it, even when it's making me somewhat miserable. I tend to like it best when I can curl up by the window with a cup of hot chocolate or cider and just look out at it, not so much when I have to shovel it.

I need to take a moment to talk about something else before we get into the picture part. You see, tomorrow is The Mate's Oldest's birthday, and that is cause for major celebration. He's getting up there in years *snicker* (and I'm not saying how old he is, because I dunno how much info he'd want me to share and so on), and The Mate and he are not only father and son, but friends as well. I'm pretty glad that being in The Mate's life has brought Oldest into my life as well, he's good people. That being said, now we'll go see pictures.

Well, since I shared my 4th of July manicure from this summer with you yesterday, what better time to do a Friday Flashback of past 4th of July manis? I've only got a couple pics on hand, but hey, that's okay. It's FRIDAY and the weekend is near, and it's time to go out and DO something, even if it's wrong. Not wrong as in illegal or immoral, but whatever. *giggles* Let's take a peek.

Seeing as how it's Friday again, I have a flashy flashback flakie manicure for you. If you've been reading for a while, you'll know I love me some glitter, but flakies are a close second for me. Along with holos and duochromes. Heheh. Oh who am I kidding, I pretty much love any polish, it's just that bling adds that little extra OOMPH for me. So anyway, let's go take a peek at a polish I've worn and loved in the past.

Today I have some really pretty holo and duochrome polishes for the Friday Flashback. These are from Sally Hansen, and they are pretty much to die for!

I'm thinking of doing a new thing on Fridays, and calling it Friday Flashback. I'll dig in my OLD picture files (old being relative, as I'm only talking 2-4 years ago), and post up a few. Many of them will look pretty crappy, since I had no talent back then, and my clean-up was pretty atrocious at times. But hey, it just shows how far I've come with all that practice, right? So, today is going to be my first Friday Flashback, and I'll share a few comparisons of dark colors.
