 There's a reason those 1,000 "Christian Influencers" didn't visit Bethlehem. That trip was such propaganda that it's not worth thinking about.

What's worth thinking about is how they can let other Christians be persecuted.

Palestinian Christians living under Israeli occupation face daily hardships: movement restrictions, checkpoints and permit systems that limit access to work, schools, hospitals, and holy sites, alongside land confiscation and settlement expansion that squeeze livelihoods and community life. 

In Christian villages like Taybeh, residents have faced repeated Israeli settler attacks and intimidation targeting homes, farmland, and church property, creating fear and insecurity with little accountability.

For some reason, Christian Zionists neglect Palestinian Christians and their persecution by the State of Israel. Unless it blows up in their faces the way it did for Mike Huckabee, but even he turns a blind eye to the persecution of Christians and the destruction of churches.

 

The real problem here is that the Palestinian Christians are the "wrong sort of Christians" to get support from Evangelicals who support lsrael. we need to bring back the 1975 United Nations General Assembly Resolution 3379.

The Religious Freedom Data Center (RFDC) has been monitoring violence against Christians through an incident hotline operated by volunteers and activists.

Between January 2024 and September 2025, the group documented at least 201 incidents of violence against Christians, primarily committed by Orthodox Jews targeting international clergy or individuals displaying Christian symbols.

These incidents include multiple forms of harassment, including spitting, verbal abuse, vandalism, assaults and more.

The majority (137) of these incidents took place in Jerusalem’s Old City, located in occupied East Jerusalem.

They have a choice of lying for Israel or telling the truth about the situation. Being real Christians.

Or hypcrites.

They can choose the Israeli Foreign Office and its propaganda.

Or listen to other Christians, particularly the First Christians of Palestine.

You Shall Not Bear False Witness

Bible reference - Exodus 20:15: “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”

Explanation: Honesty in speech is just as important as honesty in dealing. In the context of our loving relationship with our heavenly Father, we will want to speak the truth about our neighbors, acquaintances, friends, and even about people we don’t know. We will not want to deceive others or exaggerate the truth.

As followers of our heavenly Father, we will also shun any attempt to hurt the reputation of any other human being. Even hiding truth can hurt someone’s good name and make them fall victim to gossip and hearsay. Treating each other with true words and kind conversation can only help to improve our daily relationships and the connection we enjoy with our God.

The Archbishop of York, the Most Reverend Stephen Cottrell described the restrictions he faced during a recent visit to the occupied West Bank, saying he was stopped at checkpoints and barred by armed Israeli militias from visiting Palestinian families. He told the congregation that witnessing the separation wall and strict movement controls firsthand was deeply sobering, highlighting the hardships Palestinians continue to endure under occupation, even during the Christmas season.

Man, it sucks when your own side is against you.

They should take anything fed to them by an official body of the Israeli government with a lot of scepticism. At least try visiting the Holy Land without Israeli minders to get a taste of how the natives fare.

If you grew up during the cold war, you should know how authoritiarian regimes cover up their crimes to look good.

But don't take David's word for it: look up the Christian Churches destroyed in Gaza in violation of International Law. And how the Israeli snipers killed two Palestinian Christians.

On 16 December 2023, two Palestinian Christians, Nahida Khalil Anton and her daughter Samar Kamal Anton, were shot and killed while they were walking inside the grounds of the Holy Family Church to go to the bathroom during the Gaza war. The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem said that the shots were fired by an Israeli sniper.  

Really good question, especially when former U.S. Congressman Justin Amash announced that several of his relatives were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Saint Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza, where they were seeking shelter.

And let's not forget the USS Liberty. And those are not even the tip of the iceberg.

Just remember when you celebrate Christmas, Bethlehem is in the occupied territories and is divided by Israel's "security wall".

I've known about this since I was a kid. It didn't make sense until recently when I put the connection between the Zionist lobby and lack of support for the US Constitution.

Fuck, I'm a dual national and I know that I obey US law when I'm in the US and UK law in the UK, but some politicians don't know they need to follow US law.

Make US politicans realise they took an oath to serve the United States, and not Israel. 

As a Tory, I would prefer the US be a part of the Commonwealth (e.g. Canada), and not a truly foreign power.

"When the war ends we will not go back to the pre-October 7th Status quo..." 

 Yeah, because it's going to be a free Palestine and Israel will no longer exist in its current state.

I'm glad to see that more evangelicals are realising that the current state of Israel isn't the "Israel" of scripture. The rest of them need to realise that Israel has been openly destroying ancient and historic Christian churches in Gaza.

I don't know how anyone can feel good about supporting a rogue state like Israel.

And you can try and attack me, but I will speak the truth about how Zionists would have killed Churchill if they had the chance during WWII, They attacked the British despite the Balfoour Declaration, and use assassination as a poltical tool against their allies.

Remember the USS Liberty.

 There is a segment of the Community which claims to be Christian and "Bible believing" that needs a serious refresher course on the subject of the nativity. You will get more than your share if you hang around Palestinians. So, let's begin with Amer Zhar, who is a politician, comedian, lawyer, and vocal advocate for Palestinian rights:

 Unfortunately, the supporters of the Zionist state neglect how much the Levant is the cradle of the Chrisitian faith. They also ignore that Christians are being driven out of this land despite their long connections to it (like, from the beginning).

This is because of Israel’s genocide in Gaza and escalating violence in the West Bank, churches in Bethlehem—the birthplace of Jesus Christ—has canceled Christmas celebrations.

Israel is not the US's ally or friend. It is a threat. This is the most egregious of the examples of why I say that.

 But you're not letting the Palestinians exercise their "Second Amendment" right to fight an oppressive, occupying government which is ethnically cleansing them?

Simone Zimmerman, is one of the film Israelism's main subjects and a co-founder of the group IfNotNow, says she grew up being told that supporting Israel was central to her Jewish identity, but that collapsed once she visited the Occupied Palestinian Territories and saw the system of apartheid under which millions live. “It’s so deeply contrary to our values as Jewish people to support this disgusting oppression and denial of freedom,” she says.
