I scored a few points this month with my son for his birthday surprise.
I did a lot of free motion quilting and even added a few basketballs on the court panel.
I also made him a pillow case to match the center of the stars on the front of the quilt.
The quilt was my May goal for ALYoF and I was so excited to get it finished up.

The borders were completely random free motion quilting.
Here is the print I picked for the backing and binding. It is very busy, but to me it was perfect for my busy boy.

ReplyDeleteWow, that's a pretty cool boy quilt...and I think "manly "quilts are hard to come by. He must have loved it. Maybe you need to make L a bowling one. She's quite the lil' bowler!
