Friday's Loose Glitter and Flocking Projects

Amanda, added flock to the diamond plate embossed tree on her page.. She all so put flock on the green part of her banner.. The digital stamp of the the owl in the tree is from our sponsor for this month Squigglefly stamps.

For this Caroline filled the holes in her chipboard bubbles with crystal effects and covered them in shimmery glitter. She then painted the chipboard with Shimmerz paint to give it more sparkle, and painted the cork buttons with Stickles. To finish it off she splashed some Shimmerz paint over her background cardstock.

Carolina used glitter of different colours to cover the brads used for this card.

Heidi used loose glitter of different colors to embellish her frame and jazz up her paper-pieced guitar.

Lisa B used an adorable Giraffe digi stamp from Squigglefly to complete this card. She cut out the digi after she printed it and added some Marth Stewart Brownstone glitter to the giraffe's spots, horns, mane and feet. She ended up tucking him neatly into a little gift tag and attaching that to the front of the card.

Thursday's Loose Glitter and Flocking Projects

Erin used Zig 2 way glue and black flock by Doodlebug Design Inc. to embellish one of the cats on her patterned paper, as well as to add definition around the kraft colored paper. She then added loose red glitter by Stix 2 on the heart shape.

Karen used glitter in several places on this photo frame. On the blue chipboard flower, she painted the lines in each petal and while the paint was still wet, she sprinkled glitter over them. She then did the same technique with the I love you plaque. After painting the edges with pink craft paint, she dipped the edges in glitter while still wet. On the row of blue flowers that go around the frame in the patterned paper, she used CTMH's Liquid Glass to put a dot in the center of each little flower and then sprinkled glitter over it. The liquid glass dots helped it to be raised and give it a tiny bit of 3-d feel.

Pam used loose glitter to help accent the focal point of this birthday card. After glimmer misting the Tattered Angels butterfly in lime and the Prima flower in turquoise, she painted each lightly with tacky glue and sprinkle on some Doodle Bug Design Sugar Coating Lily White Glitter. This glitter is very chunky and adds a lot of dimension to anything it is used on! A little bling swirl from Prima finished off the design.

Tanya took out her chipboard, her pretty pink ink and her loose pink glitter in order to make these sparkly pink flowers match the sparkly pink ribbon. Tanya found that using Diamond Glaze was the best glue to get the glitter to adhere, as it dried clear allowing the ink to peek through and the glitter to sparkle.

Wednesday's Loose Glitter and Flocking Projects

Kerri colored the image "Floral Frenzy" from this months sponsor,Squigglefly, with her Craft Essential Markers. She then created her own shaker card using some plastic from packaging, her Cricut to cut the frame, and some sparkling crystal glitter that she had in her stash.

For her layout, Jessica used fine loose glitter to cover double-sided adhesive letters, then applied a top coat of Liquid Glass to add an epoxy look and prevent excess glitter from falling off the letters. She also added fine and chunky glitter to hand-made roses by using a spray adhesive.

Sasya covered butterflies with silver glitter to decorate her card.

Barb C used Martha Stewart double sided snowflake stickers to add subtle snowflakes made from loose glitter and flocking. They were combined with larger snowflakes and some gems to complete the snowy look!!

Tuesday's Loose Glitter and Flocking Projects

Sara used loose glitter to accent the butterflies and a double stick swirly bracket on her layout.

Lisa S. used flock for her grass to add texture to her card. Lisa used Squigglefly image Thy Cart Overfloweth.

Sue used different color flocking on her title word "COLOR."

Robin stamped her flowers with a glue pad and then sprinkled loose glitter over the image.

For this challenge, Sandra dug out her large stash of Glitter Ritz. Glitter Ritz is an ultra fine glitter that is excellent for using with double sided sticky tape. In order to get the variation and design she used her tulipe die and the Big Shot. Please check her blog herefor all the details on how to create this look.
