This is technically still the weekend so in honor of the complete and total chaos of the last 3 weeks or so I will share these photos which, quite frankly, speak volumes about how things have been around here.
About 10 days ago I made bread sticks stuffed with mozzarella for dinner and gave each kid a small cup of pizza sauce to dip their sticks in. Unfortunately, K tripped and dropped her cup of sauce and it splashed everywhere. We spent about 10 minutes cleaning up all the places it splashed (all while marveling at how far pizza sauce can splash). The next morning when we went into the kitchen A noticed a spot that we had missed during the clean up.
No big deal right?? At least not until you realize where the sauce is....
Yes boys and girls, that is pizza sauce on the CEILING of my kitchen. We actually needed a ladder to finish the clean up.
And that in one short story sums up the last 3 weeks of our lives.
School is out this week so we should be back and running much more consistently.
