It was our second time to the Hollywood Bowl but it was Elise's first time ever being babysat by someone other that family (unless you count Nursery). We got to go see a Star Wars Symphony Concert with guy who played C3PO narrating it, and then clips playing during the music. It was pretty sweet and Ryan was super excited. There were lots of kids and they all brought their lightsabers and were swinging them at certain times. It was pretty cool to see. Then at the very end they brought out John Williams, the man beind all the Star Wars music as well as like Indiana Jones and Harry Potter. He lead a classic Star Wars music piece. That was a lot of fun. And best of all, Elise hardly creid at all and went to sleep pretty easy. YAY! It was nice to have a night out and now I don't think I will think about her as much next time we go out.

| This our bench five minutes after the show was supposed to start, maybe that's why they started half an hour late.We eventually did fill up. |
Guys, I've hit a wall. While it's fun to blog, and read friends blogs, I get no comments. That is seriously unmotivating. I feel like I should just email my parents and my in laws and call it good. I even added a one click comment bar at the end of posts and I'm the only one that has clicked any of them. In the end I feel extremely LAME. Maybe I will just post Easter and Christmas pictures and keep the blogging to a minumum.
Or maybe blogging is just one of the things that is getting severely unmotivating to me. I can't seem to find the motivation to clean my stove, to get up and do my hair, to take Elise somewhere (I dont have any reason to go anywhere, I'm that lame), to turn off the ipad and stop reading books I don't even like that much, to sew and of my like ten projects that I have going, to clean her spill mat for the seventieth time even though it's going to get distgusting in five more hours again, to cook, etc. I seriously lacking something in life. I'm so lazy that I'm worried about what I'm teaching Elise, but that still doesn't make me want to go move all the shoes back to their real homes or organize the fridge.

Holy cow! Didn't even know they had Star Wars symphonies! I am SO jealous! Sounds like it was awesome. I usually watch all the Star Wars movies every summer, so that just got me more excited. Funny that I'm the only one that's enthused about it...Kylen thinks I'm nuts, but he humors me. Yeah, I never go anywhere either except down the street to the grocery store once a week. I totally understand. But I enjoy keeping up on you guys and watching your sweet daughter grow up. I am constantly interrupted while reading friends' blogs, so I don't comment as much. Keep blogging girl :)
Don't give up! We all go through slumps! You'd be surprised how many people read your blog without commenting. Anyway, here is my comment. hat concert is AMAZING! We went a couple of years ago, and I LOVED it!
I had no idea what the one click comment bar was! LoL! Come to think of it, I've seen it on other blogs too! Whoops! Anyway, keep blogging girl! I'm always reading and loving it! I know it's stinks not getting comments. I always try to comment on other people's blogs cuz I know I love comments. Don't give up! We miss you guys too much to lose your blog!
Don't worry Kimi. I ready your every blog post. Most of the time I don't comment because I have nothing to say that is probably worth the effort for you to read. but don't stop! this is my only way to keep connected with my cousins, friends, etc. and even though I don't comment much, I still enjoy it. I never receive comments on my blog either, and while it gets disheartening, I still do it because at least it's there for me to come back to. (I've become a terrible journal writer.)Also, I can understand the non-motivation in life thing. I actually just had a talk with Daniel last night about how I'm feeling so lazy! I hate the feeling, so I am trying to be better one step at a time. Instead of coming home and plopping onto facebook and the myriad of games, I'm going to try and read a good book, or cook dinner or something. Anyways. Love you. Keep blogging.
Don't stop blogging! I'm a lazy commenter, but I love reading your posts!
Please keep blogging!!! I read your posts through Google Reader so I forget to comment but I love your blog!! We miss you guys!
It is so nice to go out just the two of you. I am glad you were able to find someone to watch Elise.
We're reading, Kimuel! I'm a Google Reader too, which doesn't allow the option to comment right there.
As for general malaise (what a great word): As tropical and exotic as my life would appear, there have been days that are exactly as you have described them. I found it helpful to write down 65 things I want to accomplish in the next two years while I'm here—making coconut cookies, reading this or that book, memorizing this or that song from the Children's Songbook. It's helpful to plan out the day before which goals you'll focus on—just like missionaries are instructed to plan the night before. It gives good structure to the day and by the end you feel pretty good. Max loves doing exercise DVDs with me. And if I do that in the morning, then I personally consider the day a complete success. :)
But every mum experiences blah days. The trick now is to turn it into something useful, delicious, educational, inspirational, or otherwise fun.
Move to Utah for the blahs!!I would love to hang out and do stuff with you and Elise! Don'tt stop blogging though cause I love hearing about you and your family, in fact I look everyday to see if you have updated :)
I'm with Courtney. I check this blog EVERY DAY! I love hearing how you are all doing and seeing you guys. I missed out on a lot while I was on my mission, and with this blog I get to stay connected to you even though you are far away. It is so great to have your blog. I love you Kimi. I don't comment every post because I think I would say about the same thing every time, Elise is so stinkin' cute!! This time it is a little different. It is more like, a Star Wars Symphony sounds perfect for Ryan. I love you guys. Can't wait to see you soon, sometime...
