I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!

Ours will be coming to a close rather soon... School starts on Monday for my kiddos, and I am a bit bittersweet. I love sleeping in, our slow mornings, watching them play in the house, hearing their laughter in the sprinkler, staying up a bit past bedtime at night. Happy Friday! Guess where I heading again?? Um mmmm... should I be embarrassed to say on vacation again? But this time we are driving to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. I like to try and plan an 'educational' type trip for the kids each year. They LOVE this type of stuff, and even better they absorb all of the information. So what a better way to learn than with travel? We have a few little adventures planned like seeing the Mount Rushmoore monument, panning for gold (yes, the kids actually think they may find something), and we will be taking in the largest buffalo reserve in the U.S., Custer State Park.
