Tooty Fruity Thursday at Three Clovers

Happy Thursday!!!!! Are you feeling a little fruity today? Over at Three Clovers Designs, there are a bunch of Fruits (hehehehehehe). This weeks Challenge was to make a card that had fruit on it. I gotta tell you, I had to search for a stamp to use. I don't have to many stamps with fruit. So, I went digging in my SU stamps (all in a large cardboard box)and came across the gnome stamps (which I love),found this great paper in my stash and went to town. This is a different kind of card for me, but I think I like the results. What do you think?
Well, that is all for me today. I am off to meet baby Evan (my friends baby) today. He was born at 26 weeks, and has been a champ from day 1. He is approx 5 weeks now, and I haven't been able to get to Boston to see him for some reason or another, but today is the day. I can't wait. I hope to share some photos with you tomorrow.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Thursday and if you get a chance check out what the 3 Clovers inspiration team came up with for the challenge and come play with us. We love to play! Have a great day and Happy creating!

Three Clover Thursday: NO LAYERS

Did you see the title???? NO LAYERS Today is 3 Clover Thursday's challenge, and the challenge is to make a card with NO layers. Basically fold a piece of paper and make it pretty. Well, if you know me, no layers isn't even in my world. I am a DP layering queen. Well, a challenge wouldn't be a challenge unless we struggled a little right!

Actually, this was my second attempted, because the first one I pop dotted my flower and that was a extra layer. So, on this card here, I masked the flowers and words and then created. I believe this was my first time breaking out a SU set in months.
Fo no layers, I am satisfied, but if I decided to give it away, I will have to cut and layer it on a different piece of paper. I used copics and they bleed through. No biggie!

Well, I hope you all have a Thrilling Thursday and I hope to make it back tomorrow for bloggers challenge, Have a great day. Happy Creating!

SUINKWWC35 –PB & J Challenge

Happy Wednesday all!! I made todays card for the SU INK & MORE Whachadoin' Wednesday challenge. I bet you thought I was talking about peanut butter and Jelly, but the challenge is Pink, Buttons, and Just one more embellishment. How easy is that?
There was a splitcoast technique challenge for Flower pot cards. Have you seen these before? There are some GORGEOUS samples in the gallery. Well, I decided I would give this challenge a shot. I have to admit, this was one of the easiest cards I have ever made, and what better time, than a Easter flower pot. I used the stamp set You're Somebunny special from SU INK, and I used a punch to make the flowers, and just when I thought I owned everything, I discovered I don't have any type of leaf punch, so I hand cut my own (don't look to close, theyy aren't pretty). I guess I will have to make a stop at micheals this week (like I wasn't going to anyway, hehehe).

Hope you play along. Please use the keyword SUINKWWC35 when uploading online! Don't forget to check out the SU INK & MORE blog for some amazing design team samples.

SUPPLIES:
Stamps: SU INK & MORE
Paper: SU DP & Cardstock

Blogger's Challenge #78 Not your ordinary Christmas colors

Oh, this weeks has been something else. I finished my finals, and I have been working the last 3 nights in a row. We are in the middle of our first big snow storm of the season, and I am only finding time to make my card this evening. I do apologize for the quality of the picture. My scanner isn;t hooked up, and it is 10pm at night, so not great light.
This weeks Blogger's challenge was to make a Christmas card that was not typical Christmas colors. So, after playing awhile, I decided on blue and pink. I used a image from my good friend pia, and put this card together last minute. I really wanted to play, so here it is. I hope you enjoy.
TO ALL MY BLOGGER"S CHALLENGE FRIENDS: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

Supplies:
stamps: spiral whisper, SU sentiment
paper: my minds eye
INK: memento, copics, white pen

Merry Wishes

Ho...Ho...Ho....Ho....Meet my new Santa. I just purchased him from Whipper Snapper. I think he's cute and he is a lot of fun to color.

This card was my original Bloggers challenge #69 card, which was a color challenge: real rust, riding hood red, and old olive). When I was done, I realized I had not used Rust anywhere (ooops...), so this didn;t qualify. As my daughter would say "no worries". It was a really cute and easy card to make. If you want to see the color challenge scroll down. That card was not as easy or fun, but it's done (hehehe).

It's hard to belive that Christmas is in 2 months (yikes). I am hoping to make a few more cards with this stamp so you may be seeing hom some more. Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
stamps: Whipper Snapper . Sentiment by SU
paper: imagience (I think), SU cardstock
ink: staz on and waterrcolor crayons
Misc: SU ribbon, brads, marvy scallop punches

Wow.....I can't believe how fast a week goes by. I swear the older I get the fast time moves. Do you feel like that?

TGIF: you know what that means, another bloggers challenge. This weeks challenge was a inspiration challenge. Lisa gave us this picture:

First of all I love black and red together. I feel like it is elegant and states "LOVE". So, I went to my paper stash found this paper and then mounted my New SU set and here is my result. I keep toying with the bow on this. Should it be there, or not? If your feeling inspired by the picture on the left, challenge yourself and make a card. See what you come up with. Don't forget to check out what the other ladies came up with for this weeks challenge. Just click on Blogger challenge logo. I hope you all have a Fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.
