Austin is Two!!!

Austin had his second birthday on the 28th. It is hard to believe that he is already two. Time has really flown bye. He is such a fun little guy and we love him so much. Austin is talking a ton and loves to do everything that Jake does. Right now he loves trains and legos. Austin new favorite treat is hot chocolate. He can't get enough of it.

(Our little baby boy)

We had a little party with just our family on Sunday night. Austin loved opening presents and of course loved his chocolate cake.

Our Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We went over to Aaron's parent's house for Christmas Eve with most of Aaron's family. We had lots of yummy food and opened presents together. The boys had great time with their cousins. On Christmas morning we opened presents with the boys at home and enjoyed a breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls. We took our time getting ready and let the boys play all morning with their new toys. Then in the afternoon we went back over to Aaron's parent's house. We were spoiled with a prime rib dinner and watched a couple of movies and played some games. It was a pretty laid back day, but we really enjoyed it.Aaron surprised me this Christmas with a new digital SLR camera. I was so surprised and so excited. I already love it, but still have lots to learn.

Jake really wanted a MACK truck from CARS. Thanks Nana and Grandpa, Jake loves it.

Austin loves trains. It was so cute to watch how excited he was playing with his new train.

Jake was so cute on Christmas morning. He loved passing out the presents and made sure that he and Austin took turns opening presents.

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Update

I have been a complete slacker when it comes to updating our blog. I feel like we have been really busy, but I don't have any exciting to post about. But here is a little update on our family.

So I am now 34 weeks and counting down the days till this baby gets here. I have been really uncomfortable for a few weeks now and am looking forward to having a new baby. At my doctor's appointment 2 weeks ago the doctor told me that the baby was breech. But at my appointment yesterday he said she is head down now. I was a little stressed about the possibility of having the doctor trying to turn the baby, but we don't have to worry about that now. My doctor has scheduled me to be induced a week early, which I am so grateful for. So I have less than 5 weeks left!

Jake is loving preschool right now. He is so excited for Christmas this year. Santa made an appearance at our ward party and Jake went nuts.

I can't believe that Austin will turn 2 this month. He is talking so much and is into everything. I can't hardly turn my back on him. He sure he keeping me busy.

I will try to post some pictures soon.

31 weeks

It's about time to post something on my blog. The last few weeks I haven't been feeling the best and haven't had anything exciting to post. But I keep getting asked to post a picture of my
growing belly so here you go.I went to the doctor last week and everything looks good. The doctor talked about inducing me early this time to get the baby out before she gets too big. Which sounds great to me. I was induced a week early with Austin and he was 8 pounds 4 ounces. So hopefully I have 8 weeks left instead of 9. I am getting excited to have this baby here, but I don't have things ready. Austin is still sleeping in the crib and I am not ready to switch him to a bed. I am making new crib bedding that I haven't even started yet and we still to need to buy a dresser for the baby. The changing table is being stored in the garage and nothing is set up in the baby's room. SO nothing is ready or organized. I just know that these next 8 weeks are going to fly bye and I still have so much to do. The good news is that I am almost all done shopping for the boys for Christmas, but I still have to figure out what to get Austin for his birthday. Busy, busy, busy!

digi-scrapping

I still have so much to learn about digital scrapbooking, but I really love it. Here are some pages I have been working on the past few weeks. I am really trying to finish Austin's baby book before the new baby comes.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween. The boys had such a fun time. We went to our ward trunk or treat and then over to Grandma and Grandpa Seable's house. Austin loved all the candy and by the end of the night was trying to say trick or treat. Jake was the cutest little monkey and he loved his costume. The boys were out so late and we didn't get them into bed till 10. The best part was they were so exhausted they slept till 9:30!!

Cute Boys

One morning last week, Jake wanted to have an apple sitting on his blanket. Usually I slice up apples for the boys, but they wanted to try eating the whole apple. I loved watching Austin trying to bite into his apple.

A finished project!

I bought this fabric several years ago and I was so excited to make a quilt for our baby girl. I think it turned out pretty cute. I am just so happy to have a project finished. I have so much I need to get done before this baby arrives.

We went to the Zoo last Saturday. I couldn't believe how crowded it was, but the boys had a good time and they loved wearing their costumes.

Austin's first haircut

Austin had his first haircut a couple of Saturdays ago. He has the prettiest blond hair so I have been really putting off cutting it. Also he didn't have hardly any hair the first year of his life. I wasn't sure how he was going to react to getting his haircut, but he was a perfect angel. He made some made faces, but was still the whole time. A candy sucker helped do the trick.

Before

After
His hair is still a little long on the top, but when it is dry it looks better.

My Buddy

Jake made this cut-out of himself at preschool a couple of weeks ago. It was so cute. He even wanted to watch TV with his little buddy sitting next to him. Unfortunately he was torn to pieces in a few days. Boys are just so destructive. I was glad I got some pictures of Jake and his little buddy.

I need to vent!

Last week we made some Halloween bats with Jake. They are just little pumpkins that we painted black and attached wings and eyes to. I saw the idea in Family Fun magazine. They turned out pretty cute and Jake was so proud of them. We put them on our porch and everyday Jake and Austin love to go out and look at their bats. Well on Sunday morning Aaron was leaving at 7:30 for his Ward Council meeting when he discovered someone had stolen our little bats and also a big wire pumpkin with lights. I couldn't believe it. I was so mad. It is just so sad that someone would steal Halloween decorations that were obviously made by a child. I don't understand how someone could take something that doesn't belong to them. Poor little Jake doesn't understand where his bats and pumpkin went. I didn't even get a picture of our cute Halloween decorations.

New Pictures

Well I finally got around to getting Jake's 4 year old and Austin's 18 month pictures taken. Austin is 21 months old now and Jake turned 4 in April. But oh well, better later then never. We didn't have too much success and I wasn't thrilled with the pictures, but we did get a couple of keepers. Jake was pretty cooperative, but Austin was all over the place.
