Christmas came to our house!

Christmas morning the kids got up just before 7. I realized later that I didn't take very many pictures. But here is what I got. The lighting was bad and I didn't take the time to do an editing, but they are on the blog!
They are so excited! All three kids got sunglasses in their stockings. Jake and Emma were thrilled with the sunglasses, Austin wasn't so much. He was hoping Santa brought him some trains!

Austin didn't want to open the present that was clearly a book. I finally talked him into in and he was so excited! Santa brought him a Polar Express book. Austin loves trains and love the Polar Express movie!

Santa brought Jake a scooter.

I gave Aaron a picture of the kids for his office.

Emma loves baby dolls. I thought this doll looked a lot like her- blue eyes and blond hair.

Around 2 we went over to Caldwell to be with Aaron's family. We had prime rib, baked potatoes, salad, homemade rolls, and corn. It was delicious! I think the prime rib is Aaron's favorite part of Christmas.

Jake and his cousin, Kjari. They had such a fun time together. I just thought this picture was so cute. (Notice only the roll on Jake's plate- all he had for dinner was 6 rolls! I have such picky eaters!)

Christmas Craft

I saw this cute idea online and had to give it a try. It turned out so cute! We gave this to Aaron's parents for Christmas.

Attempts

After church one Sunday the first of December I tried to get a good picture to use for our Christmas card. I was not successful at all. Jake was trying to take his shirt off and make it into a cap and Austin wouldn't leave Emma alone. Emma has started pointing her finger at Austin and telling him to go to his room.

I almost used this one, but Jake is being a stinker. He was mad about his shirt.

Thanksgiving in Utah

We went down to Utah for Thanksgiving and had the best time with my family. Sadly I didn't get a picture of us all at Thanksgiving dinner. But here are some pictures from the day. My parents came up from Texas and we all stayed in my grandparents old house, which my parents now own. It was a really crowded house, but it was so great to spend time together. Aaron, Andrew and Meredith watching football

Brian's future Brother-in-law Sam and his family just moved from Spain to Utah. They joined us from Thanksgiving. It was so great to meet some of Noemi's family and spend some time with them. Sam and Isabelle have a daughter named Emma also, who is only 6 months old than our Emma.
Emma Seable and Emma Lopez- They both love baby dolls.

Jake loves to make silly faces for all my pictures. I am sure he gets this from his Grandpa Pickup.

I love Uncle Dewey and Emma in this picture- so cute!

Halloween

I know it is January, but I am trying to catch up on my blog.

Emma was the cutest little lady bug for Halloween. I didn't think that she would keep her hood on, but she didn't even try to take it off.

Jake had to be Iron Man for Halloween. He has never even seen the movie, but loves Iron Man. And of course Austin wanted to be Iron Man just like his brother.

I love the 4th of July!

We went down to Utah for the week before the fourth. We had such a great trip. I love spending the 4th of July in Provo.

Jake loved wearing his new outfit for the 4th. He kept on saying, "I'm the fourth of July!"

We love watching the parade. This was Austin and Emma's first time at a parade. Growing up we went to Utah almost every summer and it was usually around the first of July. I have so many memories of going to the parade, the arts festival, and watching fireworks at Nana & Boppa's house.

What a happy girl!

What a sad face!

This is how Emma spent the first part of the parade.

Jake's happy smiling face!

Balloon Festival

On the 3rd of July we got up early and headed out to watch the hot air balloon festival. We had never been before and we were glad we went.

Before the balloons took off.

I love Austin's sweet little face.

Our Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We went over to Aaron's parent's house for Christmas Eve with most of Aaron's family. We had lots of yummy food and opened presents together. The boys had great time with their cousins. On Christmas morning we opened presents with the boys at home and enjoyed a breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls. We took our time getting ready and let the boys play all morning with their new toys. Then in the afternoon we went back over to Aaron's parent's house. We were spoiled with a prime rib dinner and watched a couple of movies and played some games. It was a pretty laid back day, but we really enjoyed it.Aaron surprised me this Christmas with a new digital SLR camera. I was so surprised and so excited. I already love it, but still have lots to learn.

Jake really wanted a MACK truck from CARS. Thanks Nana and Grandpa, Jake loves it.

Austin loves trains. It was so cute to watch how excited he was playing with his new train.

Jake was so cute on Christmas morning. He loved passing out the presents and made sure that he and Austin took turns opening presents.

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
