Christmas came to our house!

Christmas morning the kids got up just before 7. I realized later that I didn't take very many pictures. But here is what I got. The lighting was bad and I didn't take the time to do an editing, but they are on the blog!
They are so excited! All three kids got sunglasses in their stockings. Jake and Emma were thrilled with the sunglasses, Austin wasn't so much. He was hoping Santa brought him some trains!

Austin didn't want to open the present that was clearly a book. I finally talked him into in and he was so excited! Santa brought him a Polar Express book. Austin loves trains and love the Polar Express movie!

Santa brought Jake a scooter.

I gave Aaron a picture of the kids for his office.

Emma loves baby dolls. I thought this doll looked a lot like her- blue eyes and blond hair.

Around 2 we went over to Caldwell to be with Aaron's family. We had prime rib, baked potatoes, salad, homemade rolls, and corn. It was delicious! I think the prime rib is Aaron's favorite part of Christmas.

Jake and his cousin, Kjari. They had such a fun time together. I just thought this picture was so cute. (Notice only the roll on Jake's plate- all he had for dinner was 6 rolls! I have such picky eaters!)

Attempts

After church one Sunday the first of December I tried to get a good picture to use for our Christmas card. I was not successful at all. Jake was trying to take his shirt off and make it into a cap and Austin wouldn't leave Emma alone. Emma has started pointing her finger at Austin and telling him to go to his room.

I almost used this one, but Jake is being a stinker. He was mad about his shirt.

Christmas Guests.

Our Christmas didn't go exactly as planned this year. My parents had planned on flying in from Dallas on Christmas Eve night. Well, it snowed in Dallas on Christmas eve and their plane was delayed. I felt so bad that they had to spend Christmas Eve in the airport. I guess you can't control the weather. My parents didn't make it in till 1:30 pm on Christmas day. We also were very lucky to have my brother Brian come up from Utah on Christmas day. We did have a great Christmas. We were able to talk to Travis in Mexico city, which was great. Then we had a yummy dinner.
The weary travelers. My parents were so exhausted after their long night.

Christmas Morning

We had a great time together on Christmas morning opening presents with the kiddos. Jake and Austin were so excited this year. Aaron's parent's came over early to see what Santa brought the kids. Then they joined us for cinnamon rolls.
Almost all of the pictures of Austin on Christmas morning are of the top of his head. I just couldn't get this kids to look up. I guess he was really enjoying all his toys! This was a Christmas of trains for Austin and he loved it.

All Jake said he wanted for Christmas was a Thomas the Train video, "Hero of the Rails". He was so excited to finally have it.

Emma got a cabbage patch doll from Santa and I just loved the expression on her face. She loves dolls!

Cookies for Santa

Jake and Austin were so excited about Christmas this year. Here we are on Christmas Eve putting cookies out for Santa.
