We got so many things accomplished this weekend! Now that we know baby is a girl, we have been able to start to get ready for her. We have four bedrooms, so the big girls will now be sharing a room. Although this was first met with tears from both (we just redid Madelyn's room last summer and she loves it) they are now really excited! The girls are moving into Caroline's room since it is bigger. They have agreed on a color scheme and we even picked out their comforters and ordered them from Kohl's this weekend! Here is a picture of them.
We made a trip to an overstock warehouse in town - LOVE this place! We bought our couch here also - very good quality furniture from big name stores, but much cheaper. We bought the girls a really nice bunk bed set and a new dresser and chest to match. It gets delivered on Thursday and the girls cannot wait! Baby will be using Caroline's furniture - her bed is a convertible crib.
I also went through all of our kid clothes. I sell things twice a year in a local consignment sale. I went through everything and pulled out all the boy stuff to sell. I also organized all the girl clothes I still have. It was fun to see everything I have saved and to think about another little girl wearing them! I have gotten rid of lots of clothes, but have saved my favorite things. While we were shopping yesterday for furniture, we went to the Carter's store. We all had fun picking out a couple new things for baby! I must admit, the baby girl stuff is SO much cuter than the baby boy things. : )
I am still getting sick - actually more than I did early in pregnancy. I also did this with the girls. With them it went away about 25 weeks, so I've got about 6 more to go... I'm sicker this time around than before - more nausea - and it comes and goes all day long. I try not to complain, but I will be glad when it is gone.
I'm resting on the couch now, about to have a big bowl of ice cream to reward myself for all of our hard work! : )

It's a...
GIRL! Had my ultrasound today - baby girl is healthy and growing. Such a blessing from God! Silas will be our only little prince and honestly, I think it will be good for him. He will have the special position of the only brother and there will be no "competition" with another little boy in the house. I prayed for God to give us what would work best in our family and have such a peace that another little girl is what we needed. Now, off to find all my pink baby stuff in the attic!

Vacation - Part 1
The week of July 4, we headed to Okaloosa Island, FL for some fun, sun and relaxation. We stayed at Waterscape Resort and had a wonderful time. We swam, played at the beach and relaxed. It was perfect! I have a lot of pictures, so I will post them in a few separate posts.
