So happened it was movie night last night and we loved to watched movie Tropicana City Mall. But it's only disadvantage is often we struggle to think what to eat at when we wanted to have a movie there.

but worry no more Secret Recipe came to the rescue when it wanted to go beyond veggie.

food was quite attractive. Will do a review in the next post.
but was glad that there is a good place to settle down for food in TCM :)

Trevor, hubby and myself were at 1u on Wed to practice the lifestyle of a cheap Malaysian.
As mentioned in my earlier post,that day have various promotion such as free ice cream, mango drink and etc as well as other buy one free one promotion.
From the interesting photo I took that day I edited some interesting photo with my line camera.

In conjunction with dato LCW win of his second Olympic sprit, BR gave away free ice cream to celebrate his victory.

People line up as early as before 7.30pm. I was discussing with my friend that Malaysian have a habit to be casually late, but not when there's a queue for freebies and many will flock to the place with freebies.

I guessed it was a successful advertising tactics by BR. Applause for them regardless how much cost that they incurred to give away the free ice cream but definitely with all the publicity on facebook, twitter and etc ...definitely won some valuable free advertisement and they had successfully made Malaysian shared the advertisement of the free ice cream all over fb. Yes BR is the ultimate winner. (P/s just curious whether BR gave any free ice cream supply to Dato)

Besides free ice cream, there is also free 许留山 courtesy of 988 radio station show app get reward program. But the crowd is definitely lesser compared to free ice cream crowd. At the same time there is also other buy one free one offer. I.e. Starbucks, McDonalds.

Not forgetting free sample given when you give them contact details to clinique and you get a free sample of their 3 steps cleansing process.

In the situation when salary is low and expensense is high and everyone try to save money... all this freebies would benefit us the most. But just wonder does it worth the opportunity cost to go for all this freebies or discounted item.

tested two new flavour "xiong beng" today
durian and green tea :)

a colleague gave me a lot of vege...
so mom tried to cook as much as possible
and she cooked 3 dishes and one soup

seems to me that her cooking improved very much :)

it has been a while since i last had my dinner here
mom is in good shape
so we need not go out to eat unless we wanna go for movies :)

still enjoy the food very much
simple and nice :)

after listening about this place for so long
finally i'm here to visit it

not much choices for desert
and i guess i over fed myself with sushi =_=
darn... for loosing weight exercise

brought them for one day Vege day :P
hope they don't get no strength by the end of the day :P

post chinese new year dinner with the family
i like the food and its presentation :)

yesterday went to visit my parent's relative
went to yishenshu at Klang to have dinner

but somehow the food taste slightly salty
but overall i guess the food is nice

they gave us long chopstick
seems very very nice chopstick for lou sang purpose :)

helped a very very little bit in preparing this chinese new year lunch

but din really take a lot of this food
cos it's very filling
but we did eat a lot of shark fin ala vegetarian ;)

mom and dad finally back from penang
so happy :)

the fridge left all these food
just enjoy the food
and had a nice dinner :)

suddenly realised mushroom soup just go nice with chopped tomatoes into cubes :)

Homemade cabbage fried rice with a lot of love :)
all the cabbage, carrot, cucumber was prepared and cut by me
my dad did the cooking :)

Chinese new year is around the corner soon
so decided to make something different this year
a salad

what I need are as follows:-
1)Funori (sea bird nest) - need not take too much as it will grow when you soak it
2)one carrot
3)two lime for the juice
4)one chili

How to make it?
1) Soak Funori (sea bird nest) with a lot of water over night.
you might need to change the water two or three times during the soaking process.
make sure that you soak it in a bigger container as it will grow bigger when it is being soak.
2) when the sea bird nest is ready cut carrot and chili into small slices
3) dice lime juice
4) mixed all sea bird nest, chili and carrot into a bowl.
5) leave it in the fridge for 2/3 hours

done :)

it's great to have somebody to cook for you after one tired day :)
