Cheeeeeeese!!!

Izzy only says a few words, but her grinning "Cheeeee" whenever I whip my camera out (which as you ALL know happens alot) is a personal fave of mine! Here she is shirtless (she got sticky...big surprise) while on the couch and thinking she is really playing the xBox, so cute!

Sammy in SUPER CHEESE mode! Showing ALL of his pearly whites! LOL

"MOM! Take a picture of just us girls!!"

Sometimes the job of giving Izzy her pre-bedtime bottle falls to one of her big sisters...and this was one of those times when there was NO complaining and Emily JUMPED at the chance to feed Miss Biscuit! Notice how Elizabeth sits with her back on Em's chest to take her bottle? Yeah she sits that way EVERY time, with anyone who feeds her. So funny huh? She can feed herself very easily...and by her girth (32lbs last we checked) she feeds her self OFTEN, but for her bottle she would rather be pampered and just lay there and not have to 'work' to hold the bottle...I am sure she will soon request someone to fan her with large palm fronds, we will try to halt her diva-ness before THAT happens!!! ;)

I LOVE Izzy's little eyeball all rolled back lookin' at Em. Another thing I need to catch on film...um, well, on digital file...geez, that doesn't roll off the toungue or keyboard as nicely as 'catch on film' now does it! Wait...what was I telling you? Oh yeah, I need to catch Izzy giving everyone those big huge run-to-you-and-wrap-her-arms-around-your-knees/chest/waist-hugs when she sees any of us. So cute! I shall try to capture it soon and you will all be subjected to yet another post about how painfully cute my twerplets are...evil...yes, but cute too! ;)

Proof that I have SOME Christmas Spirit!

We actually got our little Christmas tree up in the beginning of December! It is a MIRACLE! This tiny little tree might seem a bit 'Charlie Brown-esque' and there are several reasons for it:

1. We have it...meaning we are freakin' broke and using this little tree (which we got waaaaaaay back when Amanda was a toddler in 2001) means we don't have to buy a new one

2. It seems that every year we are either moving, broke, or have a little toddler-type twerplet ...

3. We have 'IZZY THE DESTRUCTOR' living at our house....nuff said. (meaning if we had a full sized tree that she could reach it is entirely possible she would totally burn our house down.)

4. I can easily put this tree up out of reach of said 'Destructor'

5. I LIKE Charlie's tree.

6. Since the tree is so small and because of Izzys tendencies (toward destruction) I didn't even unpack the glass ball ornaments, so the kids were able to decorate the entire tree on thier own, they were adorable! The girls even came up with the idea to use some of the tiny candy canes I got them for treats- as ornaments. Gee, I love them! :D
7. plus...it is a cute tree huh?

Sam decorated the tree a bit, but he has REALLY been into watching "Frosty the Snowman" for weeks now so when he found this decoration I painted long ago, he was pretty happy!

Eating Sugar Cookies with Christmas Trees on them and yummy cold milk while watching "The Year Without a Santa Claus" to the subtle glow of our freshly decorated (and doctored) Christmas Tree! ;D

The only problem was that last year I didn't manage to put our cute little tree back into the rubbermaid container in which it is usually stored. It sat on top of our upright freezer, which doesn't seem to matter except it was dusty and I think the NASTY dry desert heat in the garage (the moron who designed these Condos didn't put a vent in the garage...so stupid! It gets BLAZING hot out there in the summertime!) anyhoo... the plastic that supports several of the individual tree limbs was messed up and broken...thus half of the tree was all droopy and falling apart...

...so to make a long story short ("Too LATE!" quoted from the movie 'Clue')

aaaaaaaand basically I used about 10 yards of green wire to fix our 3 foot Christmas tree! ;)

Oh yeah, I am amazing...as usual!!!

Why I 'Wine'...

Do you remember that episode of I Love Lucy when she does the whole grape stompin' thing at the vinyard? Yeah, well Izzy must love the classics...

because these are not bouncy balls, or bugs, or even cereal...oh no, the little round things all over my kitchen floor are grapes. I found my Izzy sitting on the kitchen floor, with an mostly empty GALLON sized bag that used to be almost full of grapes. There are many out of the frame, and many that had rolled under the pantry door plus she ate quite a few...I will not go into diaper detail for THAT day. //shudder// She was SITTING on them and mushing them into the floor with her chubby little toes, thighs and butt...
nice.
perfect.
wonderful.
oh, and did I mention that I had JUST scrubbed the floor the night before?

When she saw me and I gasped "IZZY!!!" She jumped up and ran away, can you see her peeking back into the kitchen to see if she is still in trouble? *giggle*
MAN! I love that little disaster-makin' girl!!

(oh, and yes, that IS a bag of garbage to go out to the big garbage can in the garage, what can I say...we are HIGH class! ;)

An update...about updating.

I have decided (again) that I need to update my blog more often than I have been over the past few months. I am on facebook WAAAAAYY too often (it is fast and easy) and I really only post on my blog when I have corresponding pictures for any 'event' and the 'extra time' to blog about it... but the whole take the pics, hook up the camera, upload the files, save them on the computer and exterior hard drive, then upload them to the blog then write out the 'saga'...well, I get tired just WRITING about the process!!! So I am going to try to update more often, even if I don't have any pics to share. After all they say a picture is worth a thousand words...well, you know me, I will probably write enough words to make up for having no pictures...easily! ;) I still want to post pics whenever possible...but, unfortunately...um...I mean luckily for you all you may be getting updates more often from me.

So basically this is an update about updating...talk about lame. And further proof that I will talk too much about anything, and really need to get a 'real' life...whatever that is!
Wow.
So lame.
;)
