Color me...ORANGE

Oh Elizabeth...*sigh* This little girl has REALLY been pushing to drive me TOTALLY over the edge over the past few weeks.  Almost every day she is DESTROYING something and making insane messes!  This one is a fave occurance of mine.  I was gone visiting my neighbor Kristine for about an hour, when I walked back in my front door there she was.  Sitting on the carpet right inside the front door...surrounded by about 4square feet of orange fingerpaint RUBBED INTO THE CARPET AND HER BODY.  I certainly don't blame Josh, he was just on the other side of the room and she can make incredible messes in ANY small amount of time when your back is turned!!  Now he sure understands how easily she sneaks in her evil actions!!! LOL

She was NOT happy about getting busted!

Yeah, she painted her left leg all the way around.
Her clothes were covered too, but luckily
it was washable paint and it came out of the
carpet and her clothes REALLY easily!

My little Oompa Loompa!

She looks so thrilled right?
You should have seen her FREAK out
when I had to take her upstairs and scrub her down.
You would think I used acid and a wire brush!
WOWZA can that girl scream!

If we all make it to her 3rd Birthday in June I will be
SHOCKED!!!!! :D

Dress-Up

My poor little brother went through this same thing...
it is a scary thing being the only boy with a bunch of
sisters...a scary, scary thing!!!

ALL kinds of crazy comes out when the kids
start digging around in the dress-up box!

Those are some cute kids...well, freaky, but cute!
Yes, Sam is wearing the Little Mermaid costume
Izzy has been watching the Barbie movie "A Mermaid Tale"
and there are mermaids and mermen in it,
so he saw nothing wrong with wearing the dress/fins!
LOL, they are SO funny!!!
Oh, and Izzy is wearing Emily's tennies...
I have no idea why.

I am quite sure that Sam wearing the necklaces and
Hannah Montana hat is Emily's doing! HA HA HA

So THIS would be Izzy dancing and
making her own silly faces!

Em is just so gansta sometimes!

Amanda joined in the party as the Evil Witch
and immediately put hexes on all of the other kids!

COSTUME CHANGE...
While Sam CAN be an angel, it is usually not the case!

um...er...I have NO idea what Amanda
is dressed up as...a homeless gypsy perhaps???

Desperate for Snow

This post will serve as an incentive to all of you who have been putting of a project.  There can be DIRE consequences to procrastination.  A couple years ago I unstuffed our two beanbag chairs...it was a debacle of MASSIVE proportions, pea sized styrofoam balls EVERYWHERE!!!  Well, the empty bean bag chairs have been PERFECT for holding all of the kids stuffed animals, so in the end it was all worth it.  I kept two of the bags of styrofoam balls for restuffing Daisy....Daisy would be our huge stuffed St.Bernard.  I have been putting it off since then.  I regret that SO much now......Sam and Izzy found them...and...

Living in the desert too far away from 'real' winter
can kinda make you crazy...case in point!

Laying on the dirty garage floor making 'snow angels'
great.

*sigh*

You don't even WANT to know how long it took to clean
all of that up!  It did inspire me to FINALLY fix poor Daisy:

Here is the poor girl during surgery.
(mind you this was pre-garage clean-up)

I couldn't find a funnel big enough...so I made one.
Who knew how useful even the BOX from my
lovely Diet Dr Pepper would be?! ;)

Note: When dealing with styrfoam pellets
use dryer sheets to wipe them OFF!

I forgot to take before & after pics of poor Daisy.
Lets just say that she is FULL of happiness now!
LOL ;)
