After more than a week away from home, I'm finally back!
I've missed my house, my room, my bed, my TV, and most importantly, my dog Peyton. Here she is:
Isn't she cute? I think so.
So, I've got a few things to share with you:
Uno:
I found Graceling! In Spanish! A year after its release in the US, just a year! Now that is important. And of course, I bought it.
Notice the sentence below Graceling? It means The Seven Kingdoms I
What I liked about it was that it's the same cover than the US one. It was the 1st thing I saw when entering the store, and I grabbed it and didn't let go.
Dos:
I am officially opening a rehab centre for Bookaholics; it'll be called BBA (Bookaholics Blogging Anonymously). No joke.
I have a problem. I buy too many books, when I should be saving for college, and for my end of HS trip to Bariloche (google it. Beautiful city, right in my province).
I must have spent like 200-250 pesos in books this month! That is a lot.
Most of them were new, just one was used.
I got:
Graceling; VD: The Awakening, and The Struggle (just finished it); Nights in Rodanthe (lovely book, review is coming); Los Días Del Venado (can you believe I forgot it at my grandma's? noooo!!!); The Dog Walker (looks good, I read a similar book and loved it, so...); and a bunch more. (all of them in Spanish, it's hard to get your hands on books in English around here).
Tres:
So, I thought "Maybe when I get back home I'll find something nice for me!".
Boy, was I dreaming!
I'm still (still!) waiting for my books and mail. My 1st win was Twenty Boy Summer, more than a month ago! This is certainly testing my patience. I thank my personal god for having other books to read while waiting.
Cuatro:
Last Monday 20th was Friend's Day here in Argentina :o)
Sadly, I was out of town, and most of my friends were too, so we're getting together this Saturday!
Do you have a Friend's Day in your Country? Or sth similar?
It's a great day, really. We share meals, mates, cakes, presents..
And we get to spend the day with our lovely group of friends, my beautiful people, as I call them.

Cinco:
I just learned that the actress that played Victoria in Twilight won't be back for Eclipse (that character doesn't show up in New Moon)!
(old Victoria-new Victoria)
Rachelle's being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard (The Village, Lady in the Water). I think they actually look alike, do you?
Anyway, I hate it when they do stuff like this! Changing actors is the worst move they can do. Remember when the wanted to change Taylor Lautner (Jacob) because Jacob's character's supposed to be bigger than he was in Twilight? Look at Taylor now, that's all I have to say (I still think he has a baby face, but that body...).
Ok, my BP (beautiful people), I'm going...
to bed!
Later!

YAY! we've reached 1000! i say we cause i feel i'm part of the sgp world just as much as my friends from the sgp st team! Becca, where's the cake? lol :P

So, last weekend I went to Bahía to visit my grandma and to try to find The Pillowman. Well, I didn't find it, but I had a great time there, I love going to visit my Abu.
Instead of getting TP, I bought 4 other books:
*Hamlet (for school, I had to finish it by tomorrow, which I will not),
*Eva Luna, by Isabel Allende,
*Let's all kill Constance, by Ray Bradbury
*and The Martian Chronicles, also by RB.
The only one I'm reading right now is Hamlet, because I had begun reading The heart is lonely Hunter last week, so 1st I need to finish those two, before I can start reading the others. I love buying books, my goal is to grow old around them. If someone recommends a book, I won't borrow it, I'll save the money and get it for myself. I dream of bookshelves that go up to the ceilings, filled with books. The same goes for my music and films. I usually download (don't judge me over this yet) an album, I love finding new music. Then I listen to it, to see if I like it. If I do, I buy the original album. I believe in supporting the artist and the music industry, but albums here in Arg. don't cost the same as in, for example, the US. This is because of the money exchange, what in the US costs us$10, here it costs the triple. So, if I think that the artist is doing things right, and if the music calls out to me, I will buy the album, although it may cost me 40 pesos.
I currently own: 58 books and 45 albums. Plus the albums I have in my computer.
There are some bands and artists that are unknown here, and that I was able to find through OTH, SGP, Gossip Girl, and my many blogging friends from all over the world.
A few months ago I went to (in Bs As, I think) Musimundo -a really big music store in Arg.- and asked for Jack's Mannequin's 2 latest albums. The guy whom assisted me, for I couldn't find the albums on the shelves, frowned and I knew he'd never heard of JM before. He searched in his computer, and then he told me that they didn't have that band's music. Then I asked: Taylor Swift? Another no. The National? Nope. The Honorary Title? No yet again. The Fray? No. Kate Voegele? Big NO. What a surprise. They even asked me if I had the names right.
I'll have to wait until they get here.
So I couldn't buy TP, but Elise may lend it to me. yay! I hope she can, if not could someone scan it and post it online? I can't even find the e-Book. I think it doesn't want me to read it. :P

Yesterday my LDSs were home for a Mates, Pastafrola and Jodete afternoon (Jodete is played with poker cards and it's our UNO).
We had a great day, we played cards, we had mate, we laughed at Deb... lol
