Seaworld

One of Vincent's fraternity brothers from college was in town on vacation with his family for the month, so we met up with them on Wednesday and spent the entire day with them at Seaworld. What a day it was!!! We woke up and loaded the kids in the car... spent 11 hours at Seaworld...closed the park...and got home a little after midnight. I was exhausted the next day, but it was well worth it! The kids got to feed both the sea lions and the dolphins; watched the dolphin show; saw the beluga whales, polar bears and penguins; had dinner with shamu; played in the awesome sesame street area and ended it all with a fireworks show! AND mommy and daddy got to go on an adult rollercoaster/water ride not only once, but 2 times!!! It was awesome! I forgot how much fun (some) roller coasters can be! ;) What an adreniline rush! I loved it!-it reminded me of my 20's when my sister and I traveled all over sky diving, scuba diving and bungee jumping at any chance we could get!
Thank you to Mark, Lisa, Hope and Hunter for an amazing day at Seaworld. We had a wonderful time together and hope to see you guys again soon!!! A beluga whale. I couldn't get over how beautiful it was.

But this could be the most beautiful thing ever to me...Ella & Jacob

Hunter, Jacob, Hope and Ella. What sweet, sweet kids Hope and Hunter are.

Jacob and Ella the next morning...we were all exhausted. ;)

Tumbling Day 1

Today Ella and Sophia had their first of four tumbling classes.

beach fun with the frieders

I think my kids would spend everyday at the beach this summer if they had their way. We took a trip to the beach last week with Jaimie, Mackenzie and Luke. It was super windy and in the 60's, but that didn't stop us from having a fantastic time!

a beautiful day at the beach

Vincent and I took the kids to Ventura Beach for a day full of sandy fun!

a hiking we will go...

We took our first trip to Placerita Canyon to go on a family walk with our friends the McCalls. What a beautiful morning it was! A great walk with a great view with great people!!

my loves

Best of friends forever! These two love to play with eachother which makes me the happiest mommy.
I love how amazing Ella is with the computer. I'm sure alot has to do with the fact that Grandma & Grandpa gave Ella her very own I-pad months ago allowing her to learn so much from it! And she is starting to teach Jacob and show him the ropes. It has been so hot here lately that we have spent almost everyday in the water for the past 2 weeks! Between our community pool only a block away, pool playdates, a water park just minutes away and beaches all around us...we are spoiled with the different ways to cool off in this 90 degree weather! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for the new water vests...can't wait to test them out!!!

Pooh

Yesterday we took Jacob to his first movie at the theater...Winnie the Pooh! He lasted for the first 20 minutes and the rest of the movie we spent walking the halls while Vincent and Ella watched the rest of it. :) Ella loved it!

Legoland

We also visited Legoland while we were in Chicago! If you look closely in the first picture you can see a black arrow I added that is pointing to the tall white building behind Ella. This is the building in downtown Chicago where Vincent and I were married except these buildings are made out of legos. Pretty cool to see the city skyline in legos!

Ella has just recently got into superheros, especially Spiderman. She asks me all the time if we can buy a Spiderman movie.

Smooch!

fun, fun, fun!

Chicago cont..
We had so much fun taking the kids around to all the kid hot spots!
My dad's best friend since college lives about 30 minutes away from my parents. They have 3 daughters who are my age and grandchildren who are Ella & Jacobs ages. We have grown up together and are basically family. :) Every visit we try to get together with them and it is always a blast! The 1st 3 pictures are from dinner at their house. Both Ella & Tommy played tball this season; they had fun practicing together!

The next set of pictures is from a Children's Museum near my parents house. Ella LOVES this place and asks to go there everytime we visit (which we do) :) This was Jacobs 1st time there where he could actually participate...I'm not sure who enjoyed it more! Fun, Fun!

Love the 'do dad! ;)

The next set is from the dog park my parents take their dog to. They have a playground there that the kids greatly enjoyed! What an amazing Uncle my brother is! The BEST! He played with and entertained Ella & Jacob our entire visit! It was great because I got a little break and also I got one-on-one time with each kid as well! My kids love Stevie so much! :)

Next is Pirate's Cove. It is a theme park that is designed for 2-8 year olds! Again, the kids loved this place and can't wait to go back again! Most of the rides adults were not allowed on...it was so incredibly sweet watching Ella take her brother on the rides and make sure he was okay.

More pool fun at my parents!

Ella asked me to take this picture of her because she thought she looked "just like Ariel". Melt me!

And what is a trip to Chicago without going to Benihana! Ella & Jacob love this place!
