This image is a composite of 36 separate shots (D700, Nikkor 16-35mm/f4 @ 35mm). The resulting PSD was 1.8 GB in size, over 23,000 x 9200 pixels in size. Crazy. My machine has 12 GB of RAM and one of Intel's best processors and was tied up for about 5 minutes processing the file. Haven't really put it through its paces since buying it... was fun to see what it could do.
