We started out the Easter weekend with a fun egg-hunt... He fit right in with the "2 and under" category... but was still a little too young to compete with all the other kids. Nevertheless, Samuel was quite happy with his 2 eggs!

Andrew's parents & grandparents came down to celebrate Easter with us.
It was a beautiful day to try out our new porch swing! :)

We celebrated the end of tax season by taking a drive up to San Luis. It was so nice to be able to relax and spend some quality time together, just the 3 of us. Here's the three of us enjoying a nice day on the pier in Pismo Beach.
This was Samuel's first trip to the beach! He loved playing with the sand... he kept grabbing it and watching the sand pour out of his fists, between his fingers.

We also gave Sammy a tour of the campus. Here he is in front of the silo at the business building...

We also made a stop over in Buellton and visited our friends the Grindys... here is little Sammy and his new friend Nick - they are just a couple weeks apart in age.
It was fun watching our little blue-eyed boys play together! :)
Sammy has also recently showed us that he knows how to stand up on his own! He's so proud of himself! He can probably stand up for close to 5 minutes before he loses his balance (or gets tired)... Good job Sammy!
