Kinda Wobbly...

Our little angel is 10 months old now! Can you believe it?

He has sprouted a couple more teeth - the top two have officially broken through and are getting bigger everyday!

We're also experimenting with more and more finger foods... diced banana, cheese, peas, cottage cheese, avocado, bread/toast - but by far, the biggest treat for him are those gerber cheese crunchies! Sometimes when he sees mom or dad getting the can out of the cupboard, he squeals with delight and starts to wave his arms frantically in anticipation - haha! I think he would munch through the whole can if we let him.

Sammy loves to discover new places where he can pull himself up and practice standing and slowly cruising along. Here's a quick video of the little man standing up this morning. :)

Look at this adorable smile!
Samuel looooves water. He is just so excited everytime we go to the beach, or to a pool, or when he gets to play with the hose outside! He loves his bathtime every night and has so much fun splashing and playing and getting thoroughly soaked. In the bath he likes to lay down on his tummy and is starting to blow bubbles in the water (only once or twice so far!) - we've got a little waterbaby on our hands!

Happy Birthday Jessica <3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA (June 5)!!!!!

We had a wonderful time on Friday celebrating Jessica's birthday! I took the day off of work and we hung out in the morning whilst Sammy took his morning nap. We then went out to brunch at a quaint little coffee shop called The Pannikin. We followed that with a walk along the beach for a while where we let Sammy "swim" in the ocean (I hold him face down on his chest and he splashes his hands and kicks his feet in the surf and drenches his face and body. He loves it!). When we got home, we made some homemade toffee that is to die for! Then Jessica went to her hula dress rehearsal. Saturday the 6th was her group's annual ho'ike (hula show), which she starred in! Below are a couple videos of the most beautiful, graceful hula dancer to step on stage :)

Oh, and by the way, Jessica hand-made all of her costumes! Pretty amazing!

Jessica's sister, Jillian, made us all individual lava cakes for Jessica's family celebration on Saturday night after the ho'ike. Wow!

Now on to a totally different topic...Sammy loves to swim! We took him in my parent's pool a couple weekends ago, and he loved it! At the rate he's going, he might learn how to swim before he crawls! haha! Here's a little video of him.

Here is a picture of our friends, the Stauffers, who came over to my parent's house and hung out with us for a while.

Jessica decided to do a western photo shoot with Sammy. She literally had one second to snap each picture after she put the hat on his head because he would reach up and snatch the hat off in a heartbeat. He's the cutest cowboy I've ever seen!

Good work Sammy...good work :)
