All about the "D"

Last Friday marked Andrew's first Friday off for the rest of the year! :) I love that we get to have long weekends together now. To celebrate, we decided to take Samuel on a Coaster ride down to Old Town San Diego. Samuel absolutely loved that he was going to ride on a "big choo-choo train!" Very exciting for him, since he has such a passion for trains right now!

The train ride was smooth, scenic and quick! Sam loved looking at the "wabes" (waves) in the ocean on the way down. He also received a fun cardboard Coaster train from the ticket-checker man.

Lately, Sammy's favorite song to dance to is "Up" by Shania Twain. It just happens to be the first song on the CD, so its the one he hears whenever he turns the CD player on... Samuel gets so excited and starts dancing, spinning and falling on the floor to the music. :) I've tried changing out the CD to different ones, but he just gets upset when we turn on the CD player and his song isn't playing! So I guess we're stuck listening to Shania for awhile... ;)
