Thanksgiving and more...

Its been a while since our last post... so to start things out, here's a cute video of Micah making a lion sound.  Its his new trick.  :)
Things have been fun & busy lately...  we sure had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend (& pre-Thanksgiving weekend!) with family. (More pictures of the White's annual pre-thanksgiving to come!)

This photo was taken at Great Grandma June's house, with all the little ones who were there on Thanksgiving day.  I've said it before, but I'll say it again.  It just delights my heart so much to see these little ones playing and having fun together.
Oh, and I just had to post this picture.  It's Andrew's slice of pumpkin pie, in case you can't tell.  If any of you know Andrew, you know he loves whipped cream on his pumpkin pie!  Ha!  :)
Then, on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend we enjoyed the warm San Diego weather and had a lovely time at the beach, to meet up with Andrew's parents & Aunt & Uncle from Georgia.
On a final note, Samuel has lately been very sweet & loving to his brother.  Just the other day I walked down the hall and discovered this...
...Samuel was reading a book to his brother.  Micah loves to have someone read books to him, and Samuel thought to do this for him all on his own.  And then yesterday I walked up to find this...
...my two little treasures snuggling on the couch.  Samuel was gently rubbing Micah's cheek.  I was really surprised that Micah didn't fight it at all!  Moments like these just have to be caught on camera.

My pleasure!

Andrew and my brother, Jason were lucky #41 & #42 in the CFA Encinitas First 100 grand opening event!  :)  They rules are, you must campout at CFA for 24 hours prior to the grand opening, and if you stay on site the entire time, you win 52 free combo meals!

We had a fun time visiting the guys, checking out their tent and the set-up they had going on there in the parking lot.  :)  There were games, free food (for the 100), prizes and fun for all.  Too bad it rained on them during the night!  But I'd say it was definitely worth it in the end.  :)
Thank you Chick-fil-A for the fun memories!

Happy Halloween!

Presenting the cutest pumpkin & most awesome Spiderman around!

On Tuesday, October 30, Samuel's preschool had a costume parade & harvest party.  It was fun to see him & all his little buddies dressed up in costume.  We are thankful he has a wonderful class, with so many friend & great teachers.

Then on Halloween, we met up with my sister & some friends for a local pumpkin patch and bouncy house extravaganza!  For $5, Samuel could bounce to his heart's content on 5 different bouncy's, slides & obstacle courses.  We are definitely going to do this again next year!
Even Micah had fun bouncing around too!

Halloween night, we gathered with our growth group and went trick-or-treating in their family-friendly neighborhood.  Micah relaxed in the stroller the whole time, and Samuel had a blast filling his bucket with candy!  (I love that I got to reuse the same pumpkin costume!  Ha!)

Hope you all had a fun Halloween too!
