*Don't forget to read the bottom of this post for the cutest story ever!*
So yesterday marked Samuel's first day of pee-wee tennis lessons! He was really excited and did well for his first lesson! He had lots of fun; he blasted a few balls into the net, and this Mama thinks he's quite a natural! (which isn't too surprising, considering he has so many tennis-loving family members!)

So the cutest thing happened this afternoon. Samuel, Micah and I were reading books on my bed (I was looking for an excuse to lay down for a minute!), and Samuel picks up a tractor book. He opens it up and says to me, "Mommy, I can read, want to hear?"
"Sure!" I tell him.
Following his finger along the letters, he says (from memory) "Fast tractor, go go go!"
"Good honey!"
Then he turns the page of the tractor book, and tells me, still following his finger on the words, "And
this verse says, 'Trust in God. Don’t put your gold in the microwave, and melt your gold and
turn it into a cow and believe in the cow.
Just believe in God.'"
I couldn't help but laugh a little bit. I was trying to think to myself where he could have gotten that from... but then he continued:
"Number one. Trust in God, and this is the fun part: Jesus
rose again. And here comes the bottom
part… once upon a time, Jesus was on the cross and he rose again and he beat
death. That’s all! Go tractor go!"
That is exactly what he said, word-for-word, I promise!
Doesn't that just make you smile? He's got all the basics down - - worship God and nothing else... Jesus died, rose, and conquered death! Pretty awesome, huh?
Go tractor go!!!
