This past week was Micah's Spring Break from preschool, and last week was Samuel's Spring Break. Though all our little ones were fighting colds (& pink-eye!), we still managed to have lots of fun!
One morning we ventured down to Cardiff for some VG's & a hike in the San Elijo lagoon. It was a beautiful morning and we had lots of fun exploring the area and the wildlife at the nature center.
Another day we went to the tidepools! Low tide just so happened to be right after we dropped off Micah at preschool, so it was perfect! We saw baby crabs, mussels, sea anemones, and found lots of cool shells & a sand dollar!
Kendall loved it and didn't want to leave!
I treated the kids to a round of mini golf at Pelly's in Del Mar. Micah had never been mini-golfing before and he did really well! Plus, Samuel made 2 holes-in-ones!
And all was well until I forgot to warn Micah that the giant crab would "eat" his ball on hole 18 and he wouldn't get it back... oops! :)
I had a special date with Micah & Kendall at the YMCA Open Gym! These two had a blast running, jumping, and tumbling around on the trampolines, foam pits and different obstacles. Micah said his favorite part was "everything" and asked if we could go back the next day. :)
We also met up with friends at the park. This one has these cool swings that everyone loves! Doesn't his face just exude pure joy?!
And this picture shows the highlight of all our days - when Daddy gets home! :) We are counting down the days until tax season is over - just over a week left!!!
