Showered with Love

My family and friends threw me a little baby shower this past week.  My heart has been full ever since. Our future baby is now ready to eat, play, sleep, read, bathe and snuggle.   It feels great to be ready for when the time comes - now that I am in full "back-to-school" mode.  Now...hurry up, baby!

Here are some of my favorite shots - there were so many heart-warming moments throughout the night. Our baby is already SO loved by SO many, it is overwhelming.  Thank you will never be enough.  xoxoxoxo

COUNTRY LIFE: CAMP WAKNITZ 2012

Camp Waknitz 2012

This past week I spent a few days at my sister's house in Wabasso, MN.  It is a different lifestyle - the country life - I didn't have cell phone service and my laptop was left at home.  We had such a great time on the farm.  Here are some of the moments I captured.

"Old Mrs. Waknitz had a farm E-I-E-I-O!"

Ben and his ducks.

Brooklyn and Carter on Abbie.  I went for a ride, too....loved it. ;)

Brianna taking Lucy, the calf, for a walk.

I practiced my bottle-feeding skills on Lucy.

Mia.

 Volleyball with Bri.

Games!

Buffalo attack!

A trip to the library.

Grabbing our morning coffee.

Thanks, Waknitz family (sans Bri, Court and Jeremy).  Can't wait 'til next year!

Adoption Update: We are active with most agencies now.  We're adding to our nursery bit by bit while we wait.  ...AND, I have a freezer stocked with baby food, thanks to a VERY generous Mrs. Katie Westman...what a blessing!

School is starting up in a few weeks, so, I am in the throws of "Back-to-School" soon.  Fun to anticipate changes ahead - also fun to enjoy our time now, too.
