Is it my turn yet?

It has been awhile since I updated - all is good.

Colin is getting so big - he is already 2 1/2 years old - where does the time go??  He is talking up a storm - he cracks me up - he says the funniest things.  I love when he says I wuve you Mommy - melts my heart.  He is no where near being ready to be potty trained and I am not pushing the issues at all.  He also has no desire to have a sibling and does not want to be a big brother so we will be in for it in a couple of weeks for sure with him.



I am 32 weeks pregnant now and all is going pretty well - no surprise trips to L&D so far with this pregnancy which is good.  I have only gained 9 pounds so far which I am pretty happy about.  Summer is a hard time to be very pregnant though - I have a hard time breathing.  I get horrible heart burn and short of breath very often.  Yesterday my ankles swelled up for the first time but that is because I had a super busy weekend and was on my feet a lot.  My white blood cells are also low because of the blood thinners I am on so I may need to be put on steroids if they get below 100. 



Cara's room is all painted and decorated and ready to go - I just finished washing and putting away all of her clothes - most of which were handed down to me from friends.  I have the bassinet up in our room - I bought and wrap a present for Cara to give to Colin in the hospital.  I got a big brother shirt for Colin to wear when he meets Cara for the first time in the hospital.  We have a game plan and my hospital bag is pretty much packed.



I have been nesting big time as you can tell - I also had my car detailed and my carpets professionally cleaned in the house.  I am ready - well as ready as you can be I guess.  My friend is throwing me a sprinkle on July 13th so I am looking forward to that as well and John and I are going to a fancy dinner for our anniversary this weekend as a last outing for awhile.
