Alexander Henry is a premier textile design house, producing cutting-edge, original cotton prints. An industry favorite of manufacturers and home-sewers alike, the AH collection embraces a wide range of themes inspired by art history, runway fashion and the culture at large. Under the passionate direction of the De Leon Design Group—Marc Sr, Phillip and Nicole de León—the collective of in-house staff of artists employs watercolor, luma dyes and gouache to hand-paint a library of designs that spans decades, inspired by the moods, trends and changes in the cultural zeitgeist.

The passing of design director Marc De León Sr. in May 2024 was the most significant of many momentous changes for Alexander Henry Fabrics. The AH studio no longer produces seasonal collections, having closed the retail arm of the company. Custom artwork and custom print production continue to be the focus of the AH studio, providing manufacturers and other large-scale customers with signature designs and premier quality. In addition to client projects, Nicole and Phillip De León are also directing their illustrative abilities to projects in new industries, already establishing a foothold in the publishing world.

The Alexander Henry archive consists of thousands of designs, innumerable colorways and color stories, articulating fashion movements and telling quilt stories. Mining the AH archive for your enterprise is just one of the many of advantages of collaborating with Alexander Henry.
