Halloween Record Album Notecard

Hello, I've been reorganizing my craft supplies, and boy do I have so much. There are so many stamps and dies that I haven't even used yet. A lot of these items were must-haves for me at the time so I thought, so I'm really going to try to cut back on stamps and dies and use my cutting machine. My biggest problem is watching YouTube videos of Design Team members making adorable projects with these stamps and dies. Like I just watched one of Concord and 9th's using their Greatest Hits Dies and I almost went to order it but instead, I looked in the Silhouette Design Store which I'm a member of, and sure enough, a couple came up. I ended up using the one from Lori Whitlock called Record Library Card.

I just wanted to use the record alone as the insert so I trimmed down the top of the cover and didn't use the piece that the record attaches to. Why I love some dies so much is the fact they add nice embossing features to them and I wanted the rings that go around the record so I offset a bunch of circles and used the cutting machine to score them on black-white core cardstock, I think my Cameo 4 did a good job.

Here is the record inside the holder, I used white cardstock on the back so I can use it as a notecard. The paper I used is one of Doodlebug Design's older collections Booville, twine is from Annies Paper Boutique Grape Limeade and the Monster Mash is a Miss Kate's Cuttables which I thought was perfect for this Halloween record album!

Popsicle Gift Boxes - Scrap Diva Designs

I saw this adorable popsicle gift box die on youtube from Scrap Diva Designs and just had to have it. I knew I wanted to make a pumpkin and Frankenstein so I picked up the Jack-o-lantern Girl Face die which fits nicely, and the Halloween Stamp and Die set. I thought of the Gingerbread afterward, I think the gingerbread face die at the shop would look cute, for this one I just used some peachy keen face stamps I had with some circle punches which I also used for Frankentein's eyes.

Below you can see the inside of one of the boxes, it just slides out, so cute and very easy to assemble. There is a die for the stick too but I just used popsicle sticks I had and hot glued them in place. These were so much fun to put together.

3D Witch Hat - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

Hello everyone, I have another Halloween decor project to share today! I used the new 3D Witch Hat 3 (Silhouette, SVG) and the Witch Boots (Silhouette, SVG) to create this decorative piece.

Such a fun and easy project to put together, would also look great on a tiered tray, I sized mine a little small so it would fit on mine.

Here's a closer look, I also added one of Lori's 3D Flowers (Silhouette, SVG). I used paper and embellishments from Echo Park's Halloween Magic Collection, the project was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 4.

3D Witch Boot For Tiered Tray - Lori Whitlock Creative Team Project

Hello everyone, I love decorating for Halloween, it's right up there with Christmas for me so I'm always looking for cutting machine projects that can be used for decor and this 3D Witch Boot (SVGSilhouette) was the perfect addition for my tiered tray.

It went together flawlessly just took my time gluing the seams doing little sections. I absolutely love how it came out!!

The design of this boot is super cute, it's such a unique treat box.  I resized the file down about an inch which was a perfect fit for my tiered tray. I crinkled up a strip of the paper and glued it to the inside top of the boot to make it look like fabric sticking out.

The paper and embellishments used are from Echo Park's Halloween Magic collection which is designed by Lori, love all the cute frames, tags, and ephemera pieces. The project was cut out using my Silhouette Cameo 4.

Lori Whitlock September 2021 Creative Team Blog Hop - Haunted House and Truck

Creating projects for Halloween is just so much fun and I think this haunted house and truck is just adorable. I embellished both with paper from Echo Park's Halloween Magic Collection which is designed by Lori.

A closer look at the 3D Halloween house (Silhouette, SVG), this was so quick and easy to put together.

The 3D Halloween truck, (Silhouette, SVG) is so cute and also super simple to put together. I added some buttons for the tires and lined the windows with the web paper from Halloween Magic 6 x 6 paper pad.

Simple Halloween Cards - Silhouette Cameo 4

Here are two super simple Halloween cards using files from Silhouette Design Store and cut out on my Cameo 4. I had a little trouble cutting this out my cuts were not clean very uneven, but I had done the update to 4.3.273. I had no trouble cutting with the last update 4.3.263 so I uninstalled and reinstalled the last one and was able to cut without a problem. I know they said this update fixed some of the uneven cutting people were getting but it cause it for me so I'm sticking with this version for now.

The buffalo plaid ghost and pumpkin are both Honeybee svg designs, to make the ghost only two layers selected the white and black layer and used a compound path, there was no way I was going to put all those white pieces together. The Happy Haunting is a Hero Arts file, I just added the bat and the Happy Halloween is from Kristen Magee, these are nice one-piece sentiments.

Frankenstein Treat Bag - First Silhouette Cameo 4 Project

Received my Cameo 4 today and I'm very happy with it. I was excited at first when I ordered it but then a little nervous when I heard about the software issue. I'm happy to say I had no problem setting it up, the Bluetooth paired, firmware updated and software version 4.3.263 works, so I'm very pleased. I wanted to test it out quickly so I put together this treat bag using a couple of files from the Silhouette Design Store and it cut beautifully and super fast. I have a Cricut Maker that I do love but I rather the silhouette studio software, I have the business edition so I design in ssbe, save as an svg and bring into design space to cut, so this will save me some steps.

Jack O' Lantern - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Halloween is such a fun time of the year for crafting and Doodlebug makes it even more so with their colorful papers and adorable embellishments. Pumpkin Party is one of my favorite collections, it really made this jack o'lantern that much cuter.

The pumpkin svg cut file is from SVGCuts Haunted Forest kit cut out on my Brother Scan n Cut 2. The cardstock used; spooky sweets, party pinwheels, midnight masquerademarigold, and beetle black textured cardstock.

For the Doodlebug embellishments, I used a sentiment banner from the pumpkin party chit chat pack, silly spider shaped sprinkles, a halloween pals jelly clip, spooky town button, and some halloween twine.
