Scrap Shotz October 2015 Kit Reveal!!!

Hello!
This poor little blog has been sorely neglected...my apologies! I have been creating-honestly-just not posting here.
I enjoy sharing my creations and for those of you who 'follow' me I hope you enjoy viewing them and THANK YOU for doing so :).
I have to say it's fun being part of a design team and one of the advantages, other than being able to use fabulous new products, is somewhat keeping up with scrapbooking my photos.

The October Scrap Shotz kit is full of lovely fall colours courtesy of Echo Park 'The Story of Fall' and BoBunny 'Enchanted Harvest', here are my October Kit projects:

Yes this owl stamp was a kit item.
These flowers are the Altenew Whimsical Flowers stamps, stamped in Lawn Fawn Yeti (white) ink and colored in with copics. The chipboard sentiment is from the kit.

Thanks for taking the time to peruse these projects. Scrap Shotz offers more than fabulous monthly kits, you can always see the latest and greatest products offered in the store in the New Products by Date category. I think this kit may is sold out, contact Sandy directly here to inquire.
The November kit and add ons are up at the store here, just scroll down to see them :)

Once again, thank you for stopping in, I hope you've enjoyed these projects.

Here's my layout based on the fabulous sketch:

I found a heart file in my Silhouette software and cut it out to use as a template for this heart. I laid the template on the cardstock and then filled in the stencil with Wink of Stella markers to create a watercolour look. All patterned papers are Echo Park Everday Eclectic, sequins are Teresa Collins, bow is made using the WRMK Envelope Punch Board, border punch is Martha Stewart. The patterned papers are edged with the Wink Of Stella brush markers.

Thanks for stopping in, feel free to leave any questions on the how to of this lo in your comments :) and now your next stop on the blog hop is Lisa Novogrodski Living In Color .

Scrap Shotz September Kit Reveal

Last week the Scrap Shotz Creative Team revealed our projects for the September Fall Reflections kit which has is full of fabulous products. I think my favorite project in this kit is the Copic multiliner as it's fantastic for journaling.

Here we go with this kit's projects:

Celebrate
I used this die to cut the title celebrate.
Family Game Night
A clean and simple layout using just a few circles.
Vegas Today...
The photo block is the kit 12x12 Jenni Bowlin placemat I've cut down to use as a frame for these photos. I've also used the Prima Crackle stencil with glimmer mist for the blue accent.
Hello Fall
These kit colours were perfect for the photo for my kids from last fall. I added a some misting using Perfect Pearls and a Studio Calico mask from my stash.
Fun Things We Did This Fall
This is my favorite lo created with this months kit. I used one of the journal cards cut from the pp as the title.
Friends
This kraft frame is one portion of the Jenni Bowlin placemat. The leaves are die cut with this die.
Thanks
Again I used a frame from the Jenni Bowlin placemat, it's perfect for a card!

Check out what the entire team created here . Thanks for stopping by!

December Daily-Seven

Day seven completes the first week of December Daily 2012.

Today was about getting the Christmas cards finished. The fun part was making them, the tedious part is addressing and signing them ;)). It was more enjoyable working on them with a friend :)

Every Day Life...

I have always enjoyed taking photos of the events around our home in our day-to-day lives so I often have a bunch of photos that are not "event" based.
This is one of my favorite kind of layouts capturing a period of time in the life of our family, ordinary yes, but unique to us.
