Pink & Main March Release and Instagram Hop!

The March release from Pink & Main is here! This month Pink & Main turns 12, so we are celebrating with our annual birthday-themed release! We have fun new stamps to color and sweet treats to assemble and share. For you card kit lovers, we have a new Celebrate Quick Card Kit! There’s new product categories - Shaker Glitter as well as Paint & Splatter. And as always, we have a fun new selection of Foilables to choose from!

My card today features the new Birthday Postage Stamps set! Each little stamp is a scene with iconic birthday images! They're easy to color and if you have the dies from a previous Postage Stamp release the dies are the same - no need to buy another set unless you want to cut two at a time!

I added 3/4" stripes of colorful cardstock to create a background for the images. Next I adhered them over the stripes. The set also includes a few circular "cancel" stamps. I stacked those over some gold glitter Zig Zag Circles to add a little bling.

A sprinkle of Gypsy Confetti is the finishing touch because this is absolutely a party going on!

Make A Wish!

Today I'm playing along at Send a Smile For Kids This time they're looking for cards with Animals! Something we should all have in our stash right?

I'm playing along with the Pink and Main Icing on the Cake stamps and die set. These images are super cute and all the pieces you see are included in the set. The coordinating dies make everything easy to cut in a snap!

Because this is a birthday card I wanted a rainbow background! My go to is always blended Distress Oxide for a scene card. The creamy inks blend seamlessly and have a soft finish. A splatter of white ink and a splatter of water really help remove any imperfections from brush strokes that you might find.

I always arrange the die cut images on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base to help me decide what goes where. I had a little room at the bottom so I stamped the sentiment there... directly on the inky panel. Some of the images are adhered flat to the base and others are lifted with adhesive foam to add dimension.

I hope you find some time to play along! It's always nice to have a birthday card in your inventory and one for kids is always the best! In fact I know several grown ups that would adore this card!

Birthday Celebration!

I hope you're doing great today! It's finally the weekend and I sure hope you have something fun planned! It rained all night here in NW Indiana and the morning brought the sunshine of a new day!

Today I'm playing along at Cut it Up Challenge where this time they want you to make a Birthday Card and be sure to use a die cut! My card is die cuts from top to bottom so let's go!

The base in white is a Pierced Star A2 panel topped with die cut Streamers, both from Pretty Pink Posh.

I topped that with three layers of die cut circles and Birthday Icon Images that were stamped and colored with alcohol markers. There's a lot going on here so where to put the sentiment? I decided right down the center! LOL! Upright Greetings to the rescue! This is from the Birthday set, but the series includes lots of different holidays and occasions.

Waffle Flower March Release Sneak Peeks Day 2

It's day 2 of sneak peeks of the latest Waffle Flower release. Get ready to whip up some fun with our Baking Fun release! We’ve got new stencils for both Postage Collage and Nesting Postage Collage, baking icon dies, cheerful backgrounds, and great sentiments for birthdays and beyond!

If you love the existing Table Runner die you'll love the latest addition... a birthday Cake! The die set includes the cake with different layers, confetti, balloons, candles and more!

I layered the table runner over a debossed background with a plaid pattern called Picnic Plaid. I added a sentiment from the Postage Collage Piped Letters stamp set directly on the panel.

I had fun setting the table and adding lots of gold foil and glitter paper accents including the cake plate, servers and table ware and confetti.

Waffle Flower March Release Sneak Peeks Day 1

Thanks for stopping by! It's day one of sneak peeks of the latest Waffle Flower Crafts release. Get ready to whip up some fun with our Baking Fun release! We’ve got new stencils for both Postage Collage and Nesting Postage Collage, baking icon dies, cheerful backgrounds, and great sentiments for birthdays and beyond!

I love when my hobbies collide and this month is a perfect example! I love to papercraft and I love to BAKE! Crumbl cookies is one of my favorites, but if I have a choice between home baked or store bought, I'm always going for the home made. It's so worth the effort! Just like a hand made card!

I inked the new Postage Collage Baking Fun on the Postage Collage die cut. I added some stamps from the original Postage Collage stamp set as well as a few from Postage Collage Birthday.

The striped background was created with the Postage Collage Coloring stencil set from a previous release. I ink it on a large panel of white cardstock and the die cut it with a Piercing Layers die. I love the little extra detail the piercing adds.

Birthday Strawberries

Today I'm playing at A Cut Above where it's anything goes with die cuts. I love die cuts so this is always one of my favorite places to play. It's Valentine's day so I'm sending you and your sweetie some gorgeous STRAWBERRIES to enjoy! I know this is a birthday card, but you could easily switch up the sentiment for any occasion you like!

I used lots of older products for this design starting with the bottom layer.. the aqua on my card is a texture die cut with the Waffle Flower Sweet Texture die. That's topped with the Sweet Plaid die in white cardstock.

Next I added the Sweet Plate pierced circle and stamped sentiment. Finally.. time to EMBELLISH!!

I assembled lots of strawberries and had fun arranging them and their curlicue vines on the design. The strawberries die set even includes the little flowers!
